Whoever has the rights of Peter Marshall’s Hollywood Squares should digitize all of them and put them on a free streaming service.

Nice shot of the boom microphone over their heads at 1:45. Since our TVs had the ''overscan area" around the edges of the screens, we didn't see it.

I was fortunate to see and hear all the original members performing in Badfinger. Always liked their music. They would have been playing gigs and writing songs if they hadn't had such a bad deal. Joey is still performing so grateful for that.

Did this show start taping episodes in 1969 ? I saw a CTV promo from 1969 and it shows a scene from TWT among it's lineup. The show aired 1970-1971.

Red Fisher was the partial inspiration for the Red Green character, when Steve Smith developed him in the late 70's early 80's for the smith & smith show.

Those were the two boys in the black and white picture previously posted. I love how he scrunched down to their size and looked the one boy in the eyes. The expression on David's face was so sweet.

No music track, no laugh track in the first couple of sequences. Agonizing silences. Lifeless performances. Tracy needed to have a lot of charm to cover for the awful writing. She comes off as pitiably slow witted. I imagine the intention was to have the character just have a fun and silly wit, like Marlowe Thomas in “that girl”. Anyway, This is iconic Canadian Television. Like the haunting flute tune before a hinterlands who’s who and boom mic in frame.

Hey, I had a ticket to see em in Ft.Frances, Ontario 1978 or so, don't remember exactly, but I didn't make it. I was 16, lived in International Falls, on the other side of the border. Got caught with a little pot going over there😒oh well kinda sucked too. Had just seen Triumph at the same place, the Ft.Frances High School gymnasium the year before so all was good😊
