You won the lottery if you move to Fairview.I been here 30 years great place. If it’s good enough for Boston Red Sox 2x World Series Champion, Curt Shillings. Fairview is beautiful and I’m proud to live here.

Sister of that< picture. Fairview was nice until the Walmart came in....then comes cheap made houses, and it lost its country charm...just like Nolensville, Kingston Springs, and Peagram... Used to work those areas and loved them, but now they're just another cookie - cutter subdivision 🙄

We looked at the Nashville area 2 years ago. Not much for your money that is for sure. Great place just can’t afford the housing.

I will say that I think things have softened up a bit, and there are more choices not a whole lot but more and also I find that many times people don’t realize how many great places there are not specifically in Nashville, but in one of the suburbs. To talk to you if you would like to see what you checked out and what your needs might be to see if there’s a possibility that some great places have been overlooked.!

Lack of education and low wages. What can go wrong? Lack of investment for decades in another red state. Sadly, a fact. Good info though.

The reason the snow pics don't show cars is Nobody in Nashville can drive in the snow. Except that guy in the big pickup trucks who think they know how to drive in the snow. It's very scary driving in the snow.
@LivingInNashvilleTennessee1
@LivingInNashvilleTennessee1 5 күн бұрын
What do you know the real problem is not the snow but the ice that tends to be underneath ( or instead of) that snow. I am happy that people tend to stay home as it’s safer for those on the road.

The best move that you can make is anywhere but Nashville, TN. Take the example #10 STAY WHERE YOU ARE!!! 1. It's not worth it. 2. The scheduled property tax increase is comming soon and will price you out of your finances. 3. The infrastructure of roads is horrible. 4. Crime has increased by 98.6473%. 5. This was made in 2021 and it 2024 and the Nashville/Davidson County will be increasing the utilities Water,Sewage,Rainwater drainage have reported that increases will take affect in June of 2025 at 78.2648% 6. The city council has approved a property tax increase of $45.78 per $1000.00 property assess value. 7. An entertainment, lodging tax increase has been approved to pay for a indoor football stadium. 8. Ungaraged vehicles will be vandalized. 9. Tennessee Department of Transportation TDOT and Nashvliie Department of Transportation NDOT will not pay for your damaged vehicles if damaged on Nashville streets without evidence and they can dictate (pencil whip) how minimal or severe the roads are. 10. The liberals will indoctrinate your children in the Transgender Sex and Critical Race Theories in the Nashville Metropolitan Public Schools.

Yes, please stay out of Tennessee unless you can relinquish your liberal views and try something that actually works🤷‍♂️ we are a red state or at least I hope we still are, so many transplants from failed states who knows anymore🤷‍♂️ if you think you can move here and bring your ideals with you there will be friction. Just saying. This state is successful for a reason! And it's not from liberal views we hold folks accountable for themselves. We work we don't rely on the government to fix our problems. We step up and pitch in.

Your video is so informational. Thank you so much! My boyfriend and I are moving to brentwood or Franklin in a couple of months were trying to find an apartment right now. I was wondering if you had any advice of which areas of Brentwood or “brentwood-ish” would have the most affordable price and safest nicest areas? Or any advice or suggestions would be helpful. We visited Franklin and I fell in love but Brentwood apartments seem to be more affordable and there's more options.

Why are earth did you show a snip of the old Tennessean building that has been torn down?! The Tennessean is not a big employer here liked it used to be...not even worth screen time. Also concerning tech, let's not forget that Dell has been laying off a huge part of its workforce.

Wow! Wasn't expecting this. A real life, in your face, here's the truth, reasons to not move to Tennessee. Nothing about politics, nothing about agenda, so refreshing! I'm not native to Tennessee, I come from the Rockies about 40 years ago, and never looked back. We can hunt, we can fish, we can go to church, cost of living isn't way out of hand (yet). Best people to live around. If you don't like to be waved at going down the road, a finger or two off the steering wheel, not for you. Won't find a better bunch of people than in Tennessee. Foods great! People are friendly and inviting(after they get to know you) I don't want to live anywhere else.

@@LivingInNashvilleTennessee1 I couldn't give Tennessee enough praise. Our schools are safe, at least in my county there is a cop car sitting in plain sight for the world to see with the big K-9 in bold letters on the side. You've got to look pretty hard to find crime ( at least here where I live) I'm sure it's got it's share I the bigger cities, but all in all, I wouldn't trade Tennessee for a million anywhere else's. Thank you as well, I was impressed with your presentation.
