I have what I believe to be a deviation that I caused through meditation or contraction of pelvic floor muscles or some combination of both of them where I have intense pressure on my crown it doesn’t physically hurt but it mentally irritates me and was wondering what doctor or person I would see to correct this issue I searched Chinese doctors in my area but their mainly all acupuncture and I don’t think they handle cases like me or cases in general. would someone able to help me be called a Chinese energetic medical doctor?? (Further info on my condition just incase im missing something obvious and you can figure it out over the internet) Every mental meditation I do adds to and compounds the pressure in my crown same thing with fully relaxing my body and the only thing that has worked was doing the pelvic floor exersize which has resulted in some of the energy going to my navel where the energy feels much more stable/pleasurable (atleast I think that’s what’s happening in terms of movement of energy) I feel like the exersizes are not a long term solution considering im certain exersizes like that got me into this mess in the first place thank you for your help.

I always assumed small frame Chen had its stance raised up from traditional Chen to accommodate older players. Sounds like you guys are saying the super low mabu is a later addition due to the outside influences. Is that the case, or is Chen an outlier?

Awesome talk!! I love cross referencing cultures and practices, antiquated and new. There is a common thread running through it all but we as humans have muddied it up. So many language and words to point to "that". I think this transmission you mention in modern hippie dippy terms is resonance and coherence. One body/person holding space and it is picked up by the other person. SO BE MINDFUL OF THE COMPANY YOU KEEP. Not to bring up negativity but I see this transmission/resonance in the J6 event. I truly believe many many of the attendees went with good intentions but got quickly pulled in to the vortex of rage that occurred that day.

Hello Mr. Damo, would this help with kundalini "syndrome" / "sickness" ? At least is it safe to do in this case ? Currently sore low back due to "excess" energy pushing upwards through the chest. Perhaps it is better for me to refer the qi deviation tapping sequence instead.. Thank you

If kung fu dropped the chi nonsense it would be big step to making it credible again. But I suppose it adds to the mystique, and the the marketing.

You had me until the part about transmitting one nervous system to another persons so they learn the internal movements. I'm skeptical.

Could you please explain the difference between Neigong and Neidan inner alchemy, and if they overlap, the thing that the one has that the other doesnt? Also i have heard that qigong is a new term used for about 80 years now.
@LotusNeiGong
@LotusNeiGong 11 күн бұрын
NG and ND do indeed overlap at higher stages of practice. They are separate systems but the parallels beyond the foundation stages are most certainly there. Qigong is the relatively newer name for a system that is very old. It has had a few names that nicely reflect the ethos of the practice at different stages of its development :)

I’m training at Damo’s school in Bali and am a bit over 1 year into his online academy… well worth it. Haven’t seen anything like it before. If you’re on the fence and you enjoy Damo’s free content, this is the place for you

I took a three day class from Damo in Berkeley about 10 years ago and if I had had any common sense I would have followed his invitation to study with his students for a summer in Scandinavia. The quality of his instruction and his depth of knowledge is the best I have experienced, though to be transparent I haven't traveled outside the West Coast. If you are on the fence... jump over, you shouldn't have regrets like I do. He's the real deal.

After 10 years of studying Qigong and Daoist arts with numerous teachers, always searching for the best, I joined Damo's academy. I was shocked by the quality of the tuition, the clarity of the instruction, and the comprehensiveness of the curriculum. In the Academy, Damo doesn't just guide you in effective practice but also transmits a conceptual framework and a way of understanding internal arts and cultivation that provides the necessary understanding of the path and the mechanisms of transformation involved, so that the student can have autonomy on their journey. This is a rare and precious gift. The quality of Damo's instruction was so good that I reshaped my life to study with this man full-time in Bali. Humungous gratitude to Damo for his work in making the real deal stuff accessible.

The depth and width of material with the Academy is brilliant. And so many times watching Damo my jaw has dropped in amazement. He truly knows his stuff. As well as Neigong/qigong, Taijiquan, bagua zhuang there are lots more things in the library for annual subscribers including dragon walking, 5 elements, and lots more! Thank you Damo - you've helped my practice so much.🙏
