No, A CHORUS LINE was. It transferred from the Public to the Shubert in July 1975. THE WIZ was SRO as well. CHICAGO opened to mixed reviews and didn't go SRO until Liza Minnelli briefly took over for an ailing Gwen Verdon. CHICAGO was always a terrific show, but critics and audiences didn't warm to it until Encores revived it, even though the revival is inferior to the original 1975 production.

wow. I was 22 in 1975. And in NY. Didn't even know this was happening...so strange how subtly cultural things change --you can really see that in the various revivals over the years. Wish I'd seen the original. But Ann Reinking! Wish I'd seen her too.

From the episode "Irresistible Andy" {October 31, 1960}. The sponsor I.D. at 3:19 followed the opening title. The two middle commercials were seen during the episode, and the integrated commercial at 0:00 ended the program.

O..M..G....😍 Finally I found (thru this uploaded video) that Zachary Levy would sing this song--> LOVE Previously.... had just been came in my mind, and asked... "When can I see Zac sing a Nat King Cole's song "love" in youtube video..🙄🤔 And bammm... Suddenly this video appeared 🎉🥰 So happy to listen this song was sang by Zac by adjusting "his amazing characteristic voice".. (that's my point 😉) But I do hope that someday Zachary Levi will sing the songs he likes, in one Recording, and can share to people (all of the world) who love to listen his amazing voice😊 EXPECTING !! *twinny-indonesia

I remember this commercial, and also the show Gemini where the lady says "I'm not hungry I'll just pick." I remember seeing a few Broadway shows as a kid at that time; Grease, Your Arms Are Too Short To Box With God, and, The Magic Show after Doug Henning had left. When I saw the magic show it starred a guy named Mel.

Really well done and the all age inserts were nice too. You had me enjoying tiny parts of the Disney version, but not the Mary Poppins scene that I have tried to block out of my mind forever, or where she is in hospital gown that I had blocked out. The stuff with Han in all the eras was perfect though. The other video on youtube for this idea has great fun with the "ah, ah, ah" section with the dancers in Jedi. Yours was just as clever and funny. It really is a great tribute to Leia/Leah.

Never been to a show but when I was little I would hear the Moms talk about them in such excited voices. None of them seemed to care when I put on the cartoon so I figured it had to be something else so I asked a friend's older sister who told me.

2:20 You know what I hate about this? When they remove their underwear and there is a thong thing underneath. I know it's for the reason that you can't get totally naked, you can strip but you can't show off your private parts. But still it looks extremely stupid and makes no sense to me, and is a boner killer. Like, why would a normal person wear thongs under his briefs!!! Briefs is already an underwear. Remove your underwear and you're naked. This is a strict rule and a trigger for that thirst part of imagination that makes us want to watch this type of stuff. Break that rule and the soap bubble's burst. That's why I am convinced there are only two ways to end a striptease number: 1. You undress to your underwear; 2. You remove your underwear and use props (like a pillow or a sheet) to cover yourself. No double, tripple underwear!!! Come on!

Now those baseball card cutouts that were in back of cereal boxes are worth a little money today. Back then kids didn't collect with the intent to make money off them down the road. A time when collecting was for fun, and less profit oriented. I'd love to have a few of those uncut boxes today for display.
