The problem with this for me is its cheaper to buy a new windscreen than to buy all these products just to clean a windscrenn... BTW, my windscreen only costs $10...

@@RoyAsastha you’re absolutely right. In some cases it’s cheaper to buy a new windscreen. Which motorcycle do you have? in some cases like this BMW, it costs around 350€ to buy a new one and in some cases a new replacement is not available like some classic models.

I don't currently have a compound that will remove P1000 scratches, which is typically what I find left behind on hard German clearcoat. I normally try a second polishing set with a small 1" wool pad. If that doesn't work, probably have to wet sand. 483 could be the answer I'm looking for - I hope so!@@aftermathrestoration.Greece

@@mnataluk I Hope you’re ok! I’ve used this method to eliminate deep scratches. You can start with 800 grit sanding paper to level the scratches and move up to 1000, 1500 then 2000 before polishing. If you have a big rotary polishing machine it will make the job 10 times easier. A wool pad and medium speed will eliminate the fine scratches left from the sanding process.

Excellent job and nice finish! I usually get surface rust patterns after about a month (yes, I am that lazy 😄). Rust makes the dirt cling to the surface easier and then the pipes get super dirty much faster. Do you think that ACF - 50 can improve on that? No other rust concerns, I will use it only on the headers!

Thank you very much! Glad to know you like the process. I have one exhaust done few months ago (since October) and still in great condition. On the other hand, I had a client coming back with few rust spots. It was super easy to remove with 1000 grit sanding paper and another coat of ACF 50. The manufacturer claims that it tastes for 6 months. I’ll keep monitoring the pieces I did and keep you updated with another video. Stunning result and not _too_ much effort involved, thanks to the makeshift polishing wheel. The prospect of doing it all by hand can be very discouraging! Does the ACF50 make any real difference? thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It does take some elbow grease but the moment you reach 800 Grit paper, the exhaust starts to shine and you can see the difference. It is quite satisfying to see the reflection become clearer and clearer with each pass ACF-50 helps a little against corrosion. The discoloration happen due to the metal nature (as afar as I know) regardless of the coating used. Even uncoated exhausts turn yellow and blue due to heat. The best treatment I found s far is Autosol anti bluing solution. It seems to remove the majority of the discoloration

Correct. To test the performance it should be tested in ideal conditions. I was testing the products in different set ups to have better understanding of the product and how it behaves. These different scenarios helped me classify the products when I use one step, I choose the polish depending on the surface. For heavily scratched surfaces I use P6 with medium pad, for love marks, light scratches and oxidation Uno will show better clarity. In both cases it make a bigger difference for the client eyes.
