I rented one in all black for the weekend in Miami and was absolutely thrilled with the way the car accelerates and handles. It also looks great and catches a lot of attention, which in a place like Miami filled with exotic cars, is unusual.

The biggest flaw with this car other than the looks (which actually aren't bad in person) is that it rewards you for being a hooligan. I've found the police don't like that so much.

Be warned, the genuine Mitsubishi Outlander towbar is very very low. In over 50 years of driving & the many cars I have owned. The outlander towbar is the absolute worse of them all for hitting the ground just going in & out of very ordinary driveways. It has a 2 inch square receiver that hangs below the bumper but the towbar tongue goes even lower & further back, so that it hits the ground on very minor undulations in the road surface. It is worse than my Kia cerato towbar which has low profile tyres and very little ground clearance. It is worse than the tow bar I had on a VR Commodore with it's innadequate saggy baggy stock springs. In all my years, it is the only towbar that hits my father in law's very ordinary driveway. This is the only negative I have found with the Outlander but it's a real big issue as I bought it for camper trailering. Not sure what I am going to do, but it sure isn't going to do the intended job. I'll have to get the towbar modified I guess, which will do my warranty.

Don't know if I missed it or not. Any idea if sunroof, Harman/Kardon stereo and navigation come included with the limited trim?

Good review. Toyota's new 5th generation Prius has undergone a major change in appearance, and I think it has become even cooler. It looks like a coupe style sedan. Because the front pillars are large, the top of the instrument panel is deeper than the previous model, making it difficult to see the bonnet and the tip of the body. The rear seats feel a little cramped because the seating position is low. Power performance has been significantly improved compared to the previous model. The hybrid system is now in its fifth generation and has improved driving force in the practical rotation range. Improved power performance makes driving easier and fuel efficiency is better.

And I don’t know if you mentioned but it has a great MPG. I had a 2020 Jetta SE and I could get 45, 46 MPG doing 75 to 80 mph easily without being a hybrid. I once got it to 52 MPG going 60 to 65 mph

My only gripe are how narrow the tires are, especially the rear.

I honestly think the ex is the best bang for buck. Sunroof, blind spot monitoring, nit sure if he said it but adaptive cruise control is all i need. And lane keeping assist .. Id love cloth seats because lestger is over rated

The 2nd row seats are definitely not useless. Compared to the back seats of today's camaros/mustangs & Japanese sports cars, the Firebird back seats are surprisingly roomy. The head room was enough to actually fit adults in the back seat.

The heated seats with StarTex don’t get hot enough compared to other Outback models.

This is a $40,000 car. It starts at $25,550. Add $3,000 market adjustment, $1,000 delivery fee, $1,000 office fee, $1,000 extras they put on, $750 registration and fees, extended warranty $2,500?, $2000.00 taxes and $4,000-$6,000 interest on finance fees. I know because I bought one.

Test drove in a 450 today with a friend, pulls like a train, personally, I wouldn't even consider the 4. If you want it to be a baby S Class you need the inline 6. I don't care for all the matte wood finishes and wish they had the wood packages they had 10-15 years ago, but otherwise the car was gorgeous inside and out.

it's not fast, it's not slow.. You do NOT have the complexity of the 1.5t either ! The 2.0l Honda is bulletproof. The CVT for some reason has been really reliable as well. Great little car !!
