I’m wondering the same thing. It’s the UL certified patent. Mine does show the patent at the back saying also model 850 (which is ULs model, not Wahl’s. Because the seniors are model 8545). Maybe the more recent made ones they decided to save time and money and thought to print at back instead

The new guards you started the demo with suck for the 1/16. They will not cut as short as the older andis 1/16 guard. Thinner is better. Not to be confused with the wahls your showing. I’m so disappointed with andis

Man that's one hell of a barber kit student way better than what I had back when I was going to barber school I think our Barbara cases were made by flamingo and we only had super tapers trimmers and a bunch of combs and Speedo guys a still one and a still three. I see you paid a pretty penn y for those clippers keep up the good work keep the vision.

I salute you young blood, That's one hell of a barber kit when I was in Barber School when I first started back in '87 all I had was a pair of whal super tapers, andis t outliners the old school gray ones lol All the Speedo guides steal one and three and a bunch of combs and a flamingo barber briefcase nowhere is nice as yours...

So you recommend this guards instead of the double magnetic guards? I will use it for the same, for a oster topaz and a andis master. Also you can complete the guards if you have the double magnetic guards. 5 and 1.5 right.

I take corded clippers anytime, cordless are whack! and as u just seen the noise comparison corded are clearly quieter cheaper & has a lot more power and don't have to worry running out of battery.

if the #1 blends just like #1 double magnetic, then it shouldn't be an issue. coz #1 dm and #2 dm blends smoothly together without using a 1 1/2 guard

What a nonsensical video. The looks and ergonomics, that’s fine. The other half is just nonsense. Trying to judge “power” by the sound of the motors, when they’re two completely different types of motors makes ZERO SENSE! The corded Senior has the V9000 electromagnetic motor, while the cordless Senior has a rotary motor. No shit they’re gonna sound different - that has nothing to do with “power”. The corded cuts at 14,400 SPM the cordless rotary is around 6,500-6,900 SPM. They are obviously gonna sound different. The only way to judge the actual cutting power would be to do some cuts on different types of hair, try bulk removal, etc...then see how each actually cuts. Maybe compare them side by side on the same head.

Thanks man. I just did this to my fast feeds and it does work. Kept seeing too many negative reviews on the ceramic blade route. I can knock out a bald line now with the lever all the way closed. I would say there's a "slight" learning curve on these so just start with the lever open when trying to fade and work your way down. Im no pro barber and Ive only been cutting my own hair but ive been doing it since before covid. Just a heads up.

360 jeezy recommended the ceramic blades, I had no experience or knowledge. A few days ago, I cut my hair using the original blades that came with the fast feeders, and I think they cut super nice against the grain with no modifications. Cutting with the grain, without any modifications has no effect on my hair. I'm going to modify my blades when I get more experience.

The extended length and thickness of those guards makes a difference...It’s called “purchase”, where the guard grabs hair to be cut...You don’t want guards to be flexible or move..The stiffer they are and the better that they can “purchase” the hair, the least that you have to make passes over the same area, which is why detachable clipper blades has THE best ability to grab hair and cut...Those guards with the length and thickness looks to be great!
