a great piece of card draw i have in my arcades deck is eerie interlude, exiling all your creatures and bringing them back with arcades seeing them can give you around ten cards easy

etali doesnt work because: If a creature is put onto the battlefield "tapped and attacking," it will not trigger those abilities. The specific rule you want is part of the rules on the Declare Attackers Step: 508.3a An ability that reads “Whenever [a creature] attacks, . . .” triggers if that creature is declared as an attacker.

Equipment package? Why give up space for instants and sorcs? Aetherflux resevior exists and so does prowess and magecraft to buff things. How do I know this you might ask? Because I run these in my deck and it works just fine.

I know a mana rock that would fit great in this deck. It’s called mana geode. A colorless artifact that costs three generic that can tap for one mana of any color. Also when it enters the battlefield scry one.

Worrying about making creatures unblockable or giving them trample isn't necessary considering Mazzy's ability gives trample to enchanted creatures attacking your opponents. My focus was Mazzy was more towards auras with goad like effects. Encourage your opponents to hit each other and replay those auras again when those creatures die.

Sorta awkward, but if Fury of the Horde isn't cast during a main phase (like if it is a face down Magar creature) then it doesn't have the text to give you extra combats. Even one extra combat is good, but i think that could mislead someone. I would like the video if it wasnt already at 69, nice!

I had a Thrakkus deck a while back & loved it. I found a mono red infinite dragon combo & all sorts of little ways to overly buff my dragons. He was my first commander so I think I’m going to rebuild him & really lean into his abilities.

I'm actually returning to my mono-blue artifact roots and it feels good. I started with Muzzio, Visionary Architect and now my main deck is Breya, Etherium Shaper. Katsumasa is one I've been looking at while building my Urza, Lord High Artificer deck. He would be fun as the commander or in a Sydri, Galvanic Genius deck.

Rather than play Lab Maniac, you cna just play a card that gives Haste and ge tinfitie mana with Axebane and then kill everyone with some repeatable pump

This decktech fundamnetally misunderstands the purpose of this commander. The saprolings are there only to pay the cost of reviving SnS from the graveyard, along with big creatures that you discarded or sacrificed. Im not sure what rogues passage does for the deck, although making more saprolings is always a good idea.

Building Moritte to play with Coat of Arms and Alpha Status, make it steal the power of every creature on the field. Play tons of varied creature types, like an inverse typal deck.

I built a super optimized version of this deck. Some of the really good cards are like silvan library and scroll rack. Then you toss in cost reducers, semblance anvil and etherium sculptor style. Then you get the reality chip, sensei's divining top, and aetherflux reservoir to finish off the table. Run the Voltron strategy as a backup plan or as removal for only a single player. Urza, lord high artificer is a bonus.

I know it's just a short, but this doesn't really feel like a deck tech. Like of course I'm playing mana dorks in green and big trample dudes. I think more helpful would be some of the niche creatures that have interesting or unique effects in order to shore up the lack of noncreature spells

My friend uses Kosei & it may look slow but usually the turn after he plays him, he has everything he needs. He has some creature from LotR, I think it is an Arwen card that allows Kosei to etb with a counter, sometimes has Hero's Blade on the field then drops a 1 drop aura.

Nicol Bolas and Breya are my two favorite commanders. I'm surprised that Nicol Bolas was your first commander and I welcome you to Grixis. I went with a discard theme for mine. My friends kind of hate it and refer to me as the villain or archenemy, but I love playing it anyways. I've tried my Inalla wizard deck but it never feels like it does as much as Nicol Bolas, no matter how many times I have reworked and rebuilt my wizard deck. In fact, I'm thinking of taking apart my wizards to rebuild Nicol Bolas (discard), despitehaving told my friends I would give them a break from him. lol
