You were not kidding when you said the frame was tight. I have mine now and I cannot install my Akko switches for the life of me

it can be a good solution for stabs on plate-mount soldered keyboards where you cant extract stabs without desoldering the respective switch. in such cases, i was using a shit load of lube press fit inside the stabs. worked good, but made keys...uhmmm...heavy, so to say. will try your method instead

i type faster on my reviung34split than i do on my reviung41 and the reason is actually BECAUSE of how little keys there are, it's much easier to remember my layouts and layers. the little ortholinear reviung33 is sooo adorable i love the unibody n symmetry, plus those are just really good color choices c:

How has this held up over the last year? It seems much more sustainable than the holee mod, so I assume you haven't had to replace the cotton or anything?

Wow that is super creative! Are you building a small version keyboard and making your own pcb? Always wondered how to build something from scratch like that.

I've done something similar but instead used a small square of neoprene weatherstripping foam that I found and held onto for years for "some reason". Worked a treat and made even the stock stabs sound glorious.

Love your video and your mad soldering skills. Suggestion for people curious is try programming layers if possible with bigger keyboards. I’m on a 60% atm with layers and it’s amazing. I agree the less the fingers have to travel the less errors you get not to mention how much desktop space you get for your mouse. Keep up the great content
