The only 'problem' with Rabies is that the stuff Al worked on sounds almost more like a Puppy/Ministry side project. This remix really captures that Puppy identity without losing Al's contributions. It really sounds more like he is contributing to a Puppy song, as it should be. (That said, an Al/cEvin/Dwayne collab could have been incredible as a side project.)

This deserves more likes. 👏 Oh man does it suck when you reach ear fatigue, and even worse when you start to hear the track speed up or slow down on you ... The track loses its taste, and you begin to doubt your overall mix. Taking breaks can be very beneficial, and should definitely be a part of your routine for mixing. The flavors there, you just cant taste it anymore, and thats where it gets dangerous. Trust the process, and trust your initial self. Stay great people! 👍 Awesome video!!

Let me first say, my ears are 55 years of age. Most bomb-tracks that I hear from the computer always leave a high pitched ringing in my bad ear after one listen. It was a pleasure to listen to this track without suffering that high pitched ringing afterwards. Truly a demonstration of professional mix mastery. Thanks for the low tones.

Hey Ken! Could you please give specs on the MRL tape you purchased? There are so many to choose from, and i'm overwhelmed. I have a Revox A77 mkiii 1/4 track and a Teac a-3440 1/4 inch 4 track I just "finished" calibrating the team....I didn't have an MRL tape, but was passing 400hz, 1k, 10k, found the relative 0db on the cleanest channel and just slowly worked my way through each channel, and checking their stereo and phase relationships. I actually achieved the bias setting very similarly to how you described it, and yeh, trying to get a clean tone just looking at a meter didn't work well. It seems to be playing quite well, but I don't want to go in without an MRL tape for the Revox. and I would like to go in on the TEAC again with its specified MRL tape HELP would be so appreciated! Love the vid
