I’m happy you noticed the shirt!!! 🤩 That is a great interpretation! Trying to prevent our emotions from surfacing by closing the faucet won’t work, they will be there until we take care of the problem. As Sigmund Freud once wrote: “Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways.” Thank you for watching!!! 🤩💯

What scared me the most was the mystery behind it. The reason for it all can be so macabre, and the force controlling the birds so evil, creepy, and beyond our understanding that it gives me chills just to think about it… I’m glad you liked it! 🤩

Well from the clips and trailers I have seen yes it is about the banality of evil but also a study of sociopathy. The Nazis robbed the Jews first which made them poor so it became about classism and the upper class felt entitled to just dehumanize the poor and dispose of them. The killed 15000 disabled non Jewish Germans in a similar way gassed them at hospitals for the same reason if you were poor or seemingly useless to them they didn't want them included in society. Hitler had promised his military comfortable lives the spoils of war as it were they were forced to sell their souls though some did it eagerly as was seemingly the case with the family featured in Glazers film. We know historically some resisted there were men like Shindler and more than a dozen assassination attempts on Hitlers life by his own military before his subsequent suicide. Eventually many prefered to be killed than continue doing his dirty work because that was the ultimatum. Sure some of the worst S.S. and other Nazis were killed after the war from the Nuremberg trials but they were likely prepared to die anyway it was a war and they were very brainwashed by the propaganda had adopted the delusions of Mein Kampf thought themselves innocent etc. There was a normal family lived in that house and enjoyed the garden before they were evicted and the ovens fired up on the other side of the fence so I don't think it's just about apathy or that it was immediate the population was gradually lulled into that hellish lifestyle. Some can go on ignoring horrors some cannot but there were other horrors like the gulags and Soviet rapists and army occuring in Europe also not a pleasant time historically. I thought the banality of evil was a theme in The Good German also it's post war Berlin setting and discusses Camp Dora and the systematic starving of those manufacturing V2 rockets it's also a bit about operation paperclip because thousands of Nazis lived after the war of course many fled the country others stayed to rebuild and as one character says in that film everyone says it's wrong now none said so at the time and even the main character a women forced into prostitution played by Cate Blanchett has survivor guilt because she gave up a few Jews too if you didn't cooperate they killed you just the same.

To me the thumbnail evokes themes of contrast, symbolism, and violence. The stark interplay of light and dark accentuates the symbolic significance of the central elements, suggesting a contrast between wholeness and emptiness, unity and isolation. The red splatters, resembling blood, symbolize violence and the fragility of life, adding an unsettling layer to the imagery. Through these themes, the thumbnail invites viewers to contemplate the complexities of human experience, exploring the tension between opposing forces and the darker aspects of existence. Which is interesting to compare on how this movie is “constructed”

The thumbnail reminds me of Jackson Pollock's drip paintings, an interpretation of the automatic painting exploration of the abstract expressionist movement in fine art. This appropriately came on the heels of WWII. The eye is appropriate because the movie is all about viewpoint, what reality is being dependent on who is observing and what they choose to observe. We are being shown what we know to be a very arbitrarily limited view, chosen by the main figures. We also are shown an alternate reality, of the hero girl child, and the variation in how the scene is shown tells us we should gaze upon it as distinct. On the surface of course the thumbnail is an eye on a white (eyeball) colored ground with the red of tge vascular system present in actual eyes. But this video analysis calls on us to take note of the choice of what we are shown as much as the thing itself. I love the thumbnail. While I am a painter, I also love eyes, using them to represent identity in my work.

We never know what & who is against us until we start putting things together against the evilness of the enemy's . the best actor of this & no recognition of a good man & a movie . Thanks for this & I haven't got to see this movie yet but it's good to know about the truth of a movie .& this reminds me of the movie that Christian played in where you had to be ordered to comply with the higher powers of this world to take a pill or injection of the world order. I've got that d.v.d movie but I have over 1 thousands d.v.d 's & I don't feel like going through all of them but he's such a good actor that he should be recognized for this movie Bravo to you
