I read this book in highschool, its one of the only books i almost cried from.

Me too! And how George finds himselft cornered into making such a difficult decision makes the ending all the more heartbreaking. Also in the book it’s even sadder how the author specified that afterwards he led an empty, unfulfilled, and nostalgic life as the one he promised never to have next to Lennie :/
