I like your version of the chicken enchiladas better than the original. Cheese is really expensive and you used less in your version. You also didn’t use the sour cream and taco seasoning. Probably because you didn’t have any but that makes them more budget friendly. I like how you served it with a cabbage slaw. Cabbage is way underrated.

It seems that your butter and/or your eggs weren’t room temperature. Butter needs to be room temperature to cream. If your eggs were cold they would chill your butter. Also, your speed was too slow. Of course, if your ingredients weren’t room temperature that would have made a mess all over your countertop.

My butter was soft but maybe it was the problem like you said because I noticed that it wasn’t mixing well. Thank you I will try it again with the ingredients room temperature.

What a great idea for kids lunches. My little grandson loves to take leftover pizza to for his school lunch but it is so messy. To have these little calzone type pockets will make things so much neater and easier for him to enjoy one of his fav foods at school too ❤

Hello. I just happened by your channel. Thanks for the tips on making Homemade bagels. I have never made bagels before and hadn't heard about "egg wash" - so, actually the whole video was useful. Thanks for that! There is one thing I wanted to mention to you... I notice that your electric "receptacle" is located flat, face up on your counter top. This is actually super dangerous. You should consider contacting an electrician to bring it up to electric code. Thanks again for the cool video. BTW, how do you get the "everything" bagel topping?

Homemade tortillas 3 cups all purpose flour 1 cup warm water 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt Kitchen aid with hook attachment on Put in flour, baking powder turn to just mix it around Then add in salt, water and oil and mix until it pulls from the sides and it all starts forming into a ball like now set your timer for 3 minutes and let it continue to mix. Sprinkle out a little flour on your counter top and put your dough on top of it.with your hands make it into a ball then cut the dough in half then cut start cutting smaller ones.and make each one into a circle then go back and push each one down kinda flat then cover with a towel and let them rest 15 minutes set your ⏲️ Flour your counter top and get a skillet (I use my cast iron skillet)on the stove on medium heat DO NOT ADD OIL TO YOUR FRYING PAN.Flour each one and take a rolling pin and start rolling.you don’t want them too thick.now place one in your skillet and let it go for one minute then flip and do the other side 30 seconds (on the bottom you want a little brown spots but not completely done and you don’t want them to stay on to long and dry out) Note when they are all done and completely cool put them in a zip lock bag so they don’t dry out.get as much of the air out of the bag before you full zip it closed.good for two days maximum.

I have never had success with tomatoes and aluminum the acid eats the aluminum in my experience. So I use glass trays to freeze any tomato based stuff. Might want to think about that in the future.

@@Yellowdropdaisy no but I use lock n lock glass pans with the seals and they stack well. I don’t over fill them so there is room at the top for expansion. The food is not against the lid when I put it in the freezer. Same as canning remember the headspace.
