It’s actually pretty good with crit builds but without crits it it’s just plain bad

The gun is the lowest DPS and highest mobility ranged weapon in the game. Even at max rank with potent but highly circumstantial blessings you go out of your way to meet the conditions for, the DPS is mediocre at best. If you use the weapon, it's for the mobility. It's best paired with a heavy melee weapon to fill-in a mobility gap. If you watch the video, that's exactly how he uses it. He barely even shoots the gun but is constantly swapping to it in order to sprint around faster.

Im old old Vermintide 2 Cata player and I absolutely hated darktide when it came out. It was a buggy, unfinished, unpolished, and boring mess of a game. But now its pretty good, plenty of build variety, they updated a lot of the weapons recently to bring more of them into the meta, the talent reworks allowed build variety, and the crafting rework is alright. I would say give it a try honestly
