Got over one hundred hours clocked on Steam right now. That blocking is certainly heretical xenos bs, but it is clearly a balance issue.

Hadn’t considered GL very much but it looks fun (when riding an ammo box especially) Gonna give it a go later. Bolt Carbine with kraken rounds is nice too, not melta tier, good for a semi-aggressive play style though.

There's a perk that refunds an ammo clip, including the grenade launcher, for headshot kills on majoris enemies. Easily elevates it to s tier

@@HamTheWhale with the right scan perks you can just bang bosses as well. I melted the hive tyrant in 1 minute by having the bolt gun with grenade launcher +175% more damage on the scanned target.

Bolt rifle starts slow for sure. I took a green one to several chaos substantial and had an awful time.

I think there is a bug with the grenade launcher on the artificier and relic tier weapons. Rate of fire that you can fire grenades compared to the master crafted version is slower.

As soon as you fight a mini boss or the hive tyrant the grenade launcher takes the cake easily. Melted hive tyrant in 1 minute.
