Takes me back to the first time I ever saw him in concert. He opened with this song. The sound was so massive!! Gave me chills. It still does! Been a fan since he started. Truly a master of the guitar 🎸 Loved you for most of my life - Eric Clapton. Like a fine wine, you get better with age. ❤

Something was wrong with EC's amp. Sounds like the speaker's cones had never been used. His Strat sounds too shrill.

Don’t ever forget Jim Keltner. A fantastic drummer. He was in the Willburys, Concert for Bangla Desh, Concert for George. Has backed for RandyNewman. The list just goes on. He has never had the full acknowledgment he totally deserves.

We'd be remiss to not mention the intricate high-wire act performed by G.E. Smith calling out solos and leads throughout this remarkable LIVE performance. Well done, Leader of the Band!

For me the best "...ramblin'" of Clapton remains the one in John Mayals Bluesbreakers record, it was closer to the feeling of the lyrics...this one was arranged to fit the occasion, still it's nice.

This is the genius of America. Everyone speaks thier piece musically and they all blend together as one. This is a smile and a laugh all coming through each musician and thier instruments.

Although Cale offered this song to Clapton, he refused and Lynyrd Skynyrd made it theirs and is maybe the most underrated Skynyrd song in their library.
