I think I'm going to be doing this to my car for the first time ever this year. I'm not sure what the best way of jacking it up so I can get underneath properly is going to be though. It looks like it's going to be very tricky for someone to do at home.

Get yourself some really nice jack stands that are very stable at 18-24" off the ground. Use a creaper if you have the height. I fluid filmed 3 vehicles/year on the ground for 4 years. You dont NEED a lift to do this, but it does make it much easier!

Enjoyed the video. I also just bought a 2024 Spark Trixx (3up) and you got me wondering if it submarines better without the front storage bin or not? The saleslady said that without the bin it helps with submarining because it allows water to flow straight through to the running boards. Just like you I have already installed the front storage bin, so it's hard to know what the answer is. You definitely need the front bin on the spark so you can bring more than your keys, phone and wallet with you. 😆✌
@alecaagaard2 күн бұрын
@@Jay-pf6ln in my opinion I think it would submarine better with the bin, more surface area to get submerged vs just running thru the ski and into the foot wells. Interesting concept though. Maybe worth a video?!

That sounds like a fun truck. I think you will love the 149, its really amazing how well it distributes the power. The other benefit is that the front end NEVER binds, unlike a stock 4x4 system. You will be so happy once its boosted. Sounds like its time for a new Daily, because the current Daily needs to be relieved of its duties. :) Im amazed the guy gave you a 149, clearly had no clue what they are worth.
