You are hands down the best interviewer I have ever come across, found your work through the west wing weekly and learned about your other talents there. I’m really sorry about your mom-this wonderful song is an masterful monument, so powerful

You have no idea how much your music means to me. I remember listening to the haunting on repeat to help me sleep while i was abusing stimulants at 16.. your music was the only thing that could calm my heart rate so could sleep. I remember leaving utah and crying to echoing airports reflecting on the bittersweet feelings i felt leaving a place i loved and leaving behind a girl i loved

Wonderful lyrics, beautifully sung! Does anyone know of a recording without the harsh/distracting percussion? I've tried KZbin, Spotify, and Amazon - all too crisp for my ears.

Beautiful. I've been a fan since The One AM Radio era (I still think 'Heaven is Attached by a Slender Thread' is legitimately one of the best albums of the 2010s) and then dove backwards and forewards into your music. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and sincerity of your music, and this song represents it oh-so-well. Cheers, Hrishikesh!

I heard this song for the first time a couple of months ago, on one of those playlists that are created by those Spotify algorithms. I loved it immediately, the quiet sadness in the voice and the melancholic lyrics. Also loved the mix of the cello with electronic beats. I understood it was about loss and remembrance. I remembered my dad. Thank you.

The lyrics in this beautiful song so clearly represent the pictures in my heart and mind of how I feel about my late husband. He will always be a piece of a beautiful dream that lasted over 40 years. We, too, meet in the shadows.

@MassAmorphous I now play it with my kids. Lots of driving around country roads exploring the nearby countryside with this album blaring. I'm actually still chasing that high - it's rare to find albums this perfect. Maybe once ever 4 or 5 years for me. Regardless, glad to meet another brother/sister fan!
