I was amused by the gorgeous fall colors/trees in some of the video. Here in SE Michigan, our current windchill is -4F, which is unusually cold even for us. I've been enjoying watching your entire trip. Thanks for documenting it!

Really enjoyed the video! We have a cruise on the Navigator coming up and may want to try to bid for a room upgrade. Do you mind sharing how much you bid? Do you feel like it was worth it for such a short cruise?
@RandomRecessКүн бұрын
We bid around 1k for the upgrade. For us it was worth it, as we essentially were on that cruise for free thanks to a casino comp.

Excellent video. My partner and I are going in Feb and have been waffling about Hiroshima but this really solidified our decision to go. What time did you leave Osaka and what time did you return?
@RandomRecessКүн бұрын
That’s amazing to hear! You won’t regret it. So, we left Osaka around 9a, and got to Hiroshima around 1040ish. We took the 1p ferry over to Miyajima, and the last ferry back was at around 5 but we left at like 4. We ate in Hiroshima and took the train back around 8, and got back to Osaka around 10.

I know more and more people who are avoiding the strip because of cost and this casino is a prime example. The regular people used to be the support for Vegas but now the strip wants to cater the well to do, since the old days the casino have gotten very greedy, odds are tilted even more in the favor of the casino, food prices, shopping and lodging costs are sky high.
@chantayk2 күн бұрын
I just got back from Vegas this past weekend. We stayed at the Paris/Horseshoe. It was the MOST confusing hotel I've ever been in. I STILL couldn't tell you which one I was in. 😆 But it was the Versailles Tower, and I had the best view of the Strip (which included the Sphere). I had family members in all kinds of different places. I guess, some at The Horseshoe (possibly me), and some at Paris. We all got lost so many times during this trip. But my room was spacious and my view was great. But I haven't walked this much in a hotel ever! Lol

I retract my previous statement... Although the Fountainbleu looks like an office building, on the inside it is absolutely fantastic. The opulence is from the moment you step inside. And is just a crescendo as you openly explore the beautiful interior. From the bottom to the top this place is amazing. It brings much needed new vibrance to the strip. And that isn't just some graphics on a dome. This place is the real deal.

It would not surprise me I believe it's basically the same as Disneyland Paris Indiana Jones rollercoaster that is also very rough
@WorkerBeeSupply5 күн бұрын
I was there in November and it's really not bad at all. If roughness is something you're concerned about, I can emphasize that you shouldn't worry, mainly because it's so short! The track is pretty tame, even the loop isn't that intense (like, at all.) My partner and I enjoyed riding it, and I especially loved the simple fog effects before you hit the loop! Tip: I believe there's a single rider line for this, as well as Indiana Jones, which I highly recommend doing!
