@spsjason2 well a technical service bulletin was released after this video. Coincidence? I don't think so because their solution is very similar, just done below the fuse box instead of on top. This quick fix can be done in the parking lot to get you home, theirs cannot.

@@dinstaar Yes, I agree your fix is great a fast solution. All I am saying is I looked the vin on mopar site and it showed a recall for the relay on November 14th 2019. NHTSA Recall Number 19V-813 FCA Recall Number V62.

@@spsjason2 Yes, no one is arguing with you on that. The original recall solution was to replace the computer. These vehicles did not originally come with a fuel pump relay and relied on computer control (a serious flaw if you ask me). The problem with replacing the computer itself is that it will also fail in time. The solution to externally wire in a relay was not published until December of 2020.

@sultanalwah8286 stop randomly replacing components immediately. It is a fast way to lose money. If it is a burning smell , it is likely your belt. Inspect it for damage, then check all your pulleys. I'll bet you find something.

@@412jessica then you have a different problem. You have not diagnosed your issue correctly. Describe your issue in detail and maybe I can help you a little more.

@@dinstaar started 3 months ago. It gave me issues trying to start then wouldn’t at all. Had the battery tested and they said it was bad. The new battery was dead within 2 weeks. So got another one. Then I noticed the sound of the fuel pump was constantly running. That’s what was draining the battery. So I got to pulling the fuse to the fuel pump so it wouldn’t drain the battery. That was working fine until last week. I am now on my 4th brand new $220 battery (thank the heavens for warranty) and it is not starting. I have put in a new fuse. I have bought the 2 pieces you suggested and made a bypass but haven’t used it yet. I pulled the relay out that is next to the fuel pump fuse and one of the prongs is black. I guess it was blown so I have bought one to replace it. Still not starting. I am picking up another relay today to try and see if the 2 will get it going. Once I put the new relay in I hear things turning on. Before I put the new relay in there were only 3 fuses that were giving me the light they were fine. After the relay insert I do have more fuses that are lighting up on the fuse tester. It’s a 2011 with only 48k miles on it. The engine only had 1390 hours of use.

@@412jessica of your problem is power to the fuel pump is constantly on, this will likely not work as this solution is for no power to the fuel pump ever. You have a more complex power issue and need to find someone good close to you. Since your problem has multiple power issues and battery problems I know where I would start. Take a look at your alternator first. You may be getting too many volts, or your voltage regulator may not be working. I have seen alternators not rectify power correctly and push out AC power and cause issues like you are having. Start at your alternator and let me know how it goes.

@@charlesoswald602 that fuse is hot on key on acc position. It primes your line and pushes fuel to the engine so it starts. Check your electrical schematic and you'll see yourself.

ALSO IVE FOUND I CAN IMPROVE A NON GAS RESISTANT PAINT BY PAINTING WITH POLY URETHANE PAINT .....BUT LET BOTH COATS DRY IN THE HOT SUN A FEW DAYS WITH EACH COAT..

@@AIRMANBEAR The problem with poly is yellowing. Fine for dark colors, but light colors it is a no go.

Orange peel is easy to wet sand, it turns out great. Start with 1000, then 1500, then 2000, then 2500, then rubbing compound, then polishing compound. Wax in a week or 2.

@@MOHITSHARMA-kj3cw isn't cranking or isn't starting? If it is turning over and won't fire, use this solution. If it is not turning over at all, check your starter.

It wasn’t the starter but the ASD relay causing the issue. Jeeps have a known design flaw with this relay, leading to corrosion and starting problems. I cleaned the relay and reconnected the wires, and it started right up. Thanks for your response though! I’ll definitely keep following your videos for more helpful tips.

@@MOHITSHARMA-kj3cw that is great. I was trying to fish for some more information with the question isn't starting or isn't turning over at all. Yeah, a bad relay is a common problem that will not allow power to go to the starter. Glad you got it.

@@mmiczak973 then you did it wrong or you have a different issue. This draws no power with the key in the off position, that is the reason I chose this circuit to tap into to begin with. You went to the wrong circuit or you have a battery or alternator issue.

I read the agreement. There is no consequence for not showing the receipt. Read for yourself, There is nothing they can do about it.

@dinstaar If you read it, you'd know that they can revoke your membership for refusing to show your receipt. I've worked there over 6 years, trust me.

@@dalenolden1875 No. Not even close. Plastic is difficult and certain paints stick to it better than others.

@@jadenfox3445 you did not mention air flow or any check engine lights. Check for air restrictions, look for a fault code that could be related to the computer cutting fuel. You could also crack a fuel line and see if gas is getting to your engine. Good luck.

Yeah, it took me a little bit to figure out how to move that exhaust enought to get the pan out. When I did, I knew I had to share it because Chevy seriously should never have done that.

Yeah, it happens more than it should. I was pretty upset when it came off and I lost it, even more upset when I found out what it would cost to get this simple thing repaired. I have also used super glue applied with a toothpick with great success.
