Not to be offensive, but that doesn't really happen with a genuine Rolex. A Submariner is a tool watch and tough as hell. Your parts were most likely replica parts or aftermarket. This is the 11610. Buy the turquoise, not the blue. It does have a small post in the back of it. I know man. I thought of it like this though, I work on my truck and it is worth way more. Also, you don't have anything to lose. Where it stands you you need a new bezel insert. If you screw up, you need a new bezel insert. You would think Rolex would recess that a little, setting it where they do is asking for this to happen. The only thing that made me nervous was using the Dremel to clean out that hole so the new pearl would seat perfectly flat. That ceramic was way harder than I thought it was so don't be too scared. Also, the bit is already in that tiney hole so it doesn't wander at all. If you give it a go, let me know how it turns out. A few people have commented this method has worked great for them!

When I read the forums they said that Rolex would want to replace the whole bezel. So since this happened, I had nothing to lose. The only thing I would screw up is the bezel. I figured since Rolex would just remove it and replace it, I may as well try. I read a couple of people had luck doing this repair but there was no video on it anywhere I could find. I made this because it is not too uncommon for the pip to get banged off the bezel. Besides, I am very mechanically inclined. I have been repairing vehicles for 20 years that are more complex and expensive than my watch. Why not try? I read my comments and a couple people followed my instructions with success. I hope it doesn't happen to you, but if it does, don't be too scared. I am not going to lie though, I was pretty nervous when I had to stick that Dremel in that little hole to clean it out a little.
