You can use sandpaper to make the side more even and softer (and also to protect yourself from cutting your fingers with the paper) 🥺

I did this to a travellers notebook sticker release book to cut it down to Weeks size so I can keep it in the back of my Weeks. It was far from perfect but works ok, I think if i cover the front it will look ok :) I wouldn’t have a clue how to print different size inserts though as ive never had a ring planner so had to print them! I love your end result

I got a kindle basic this summer after vacation. I saw an elderly lady who was reading on a ebook-reader on the plane and I couldnt read because I had no pysical book with me. And when I arrived home I got sick and spent two weeks at home. So my kindle was my gift to myself to feel better during illness. Currently I am reading Cornelia Funke‘s Ink Heart Trilogy

Great lineup. I also love having a random thoughts journal that is separate from my commonplace journal and morning pages journal. Mine looks a lot like yours; just writing in black ink, no deco and I love it.

Hey Jess, the way you use your "thoughts/notes/incubating" notebook is kinda how I use my most used one. I like to call it "thinking on paper" because I litterally write on it while I think about stuff, reflect on feelings/actions, make desicions, etc, and to me that is totally different from morning pages hehe Hugs from Argentina ✨💕

I always read on my phone on warm light and the warm light is REALLY more comfortable for me Does the kindle basic make up for the warm light on phone? I hate dark mode too And my budget is really limited since I'm still a student So it's either the new basic or the 11th ppw and I'm really scared not to like lacking the warm light😭

So jealous of your Kokuyo glue tape haul! I also love those Kokuyo ones from Daiso but had to stop using them as my main glue for journalling because I was going through them too quickly and it was getting a bit exxy and was also a bit worried about the amount of plastic waste 😅 I also used to love the Muji glue tapes and the fact you could get refills for them, but they changed the design and I don't like the new one so much 🥲 Thanks for sharing all the goodies you got in Japan! 😊
