You can use sandpaper to make the side more even and softer (and also to protect yourself from cutting your fingers with the paper) 🥺

I did this to a travellers notebook sticker release book to cut it down to Weeks size so I can keep it in the back of my Weeks. It was far from perfect but works ok, I think if i cover the front it will look ok :) I wouldn’t have a clue how to print different size inserts though as ive never had a ring planner so had to print them! I love your end result
