When I was new to pointe shoes I had no idea when to rotate in a new pair! I was dancing on dead shoes for weeks!

I understand the confusion, however this is very much so a professional ballet costume. Both gymnastics and ballet have leotards, but she clearly had a tutu and pointe shoes on. This is also posted by a dance company. Again I understand the confusion and I’m not trying to be rude, just clearing up a misconception. I bet you’re amazing at gymnastics though! Bright things are ahead for you!♥️✝️

They all looked the same to me. I watched a show about the shoes ballerinas must wear to perform. I was blown away to find out they have to buy new pointe shoes for every performance. The work these women have to do to their shoes before even dancing in them. They basically have to destroy their shoes before dancing in them. After they dance in them, they throw them away! Thousands and thousands of dollars for shoes with once. 😮
