I had my own experiences of being on the streets in the Toon in the late 90’s. Done all the mad hostels in the area as well. They were bonkers places and some mad memories. Met some great people along the way. It’s sad to see the situation has got worse in the Toon. You would think there would be some sort of progress in the past 2 and a half decades. Sad times we are living in 😢

Fascinating blog mate. I go to glasgow on a regular basis n c a lot of homeless tho many arent genuine n just profesional beggars that ruin it for the geniune ones. Great to the realism n this side of life in a great city

As an Indian with traveller roots, I see the type of life I should be living in the UK. What a well preserved way of living passed down through and too generations. Religions may fall apart but this way of life is here to stay.. Definitely going back to my roots, which most people are afraid to do.. Which is why the traveller community is frowned upon.. Is actually a form of envy. Anyway some nice horses in the video. We'll have to visit the fair some day..

You made a video, so I'll give you that, but this was more about you and theatre. I note you have another, too, but I daren't watch it after this. Folks should check-out Michael Cordes, a homeless guy himself. He tells the raw reality of homelessness beneath the surface. The reality of how easy it is to become homeless, being robbed, severely beaten, verbally abused, ignored by the police, shunned by hospital and social services, living through winters and blistering summer heat... and this guy works and is not an addict. Housing is the in the top-tier list of UK's priorities, the govt doesn't seem to think so, however.

I think looks amazing and that's from a normal person who's Scottish staying in northern Ireland ok that probably doesn't make me normal 😂 but can understand why folk don't want them with all the traveler fights watching this video I would love to see this but taking kids then a warfare break's out I think the traveler community are great just need to stop the gang warfare amongst them selfs ❤
