How’s the dirt here in comparison to creek? I know blue has the reputation of being slippery, but creek doesn’t really have dirt either.

@@DennyJannettyMTB it can be loose. Tends to be a soft top soil but a lot of fun because you can predict when it’s going to give way.

Mad respect buddy. The go pro doesn’t do this trail justice. We did it on hardtails yesterday and it was pretty gnarly. The climb up to the top of the mountain had us exhausted before we even got to thunderstruck

that last wall ride at the end. is it hard. cuz when i was there i kept on skipping it. any tips!
@CallumCussenАй бұрын
@@AutoStreamMastery if you treat it like a berm it’s fairly simple to ride. It looks intimidating because it’s made from wood but it will ride just like a berm if you commit and lean into the turn.

Nice run! I hit the drop 2:08 when I was there back in June - how’s it compare to the first Hooch drop at Bryce?
@CallumCussenАй бұрын
@@Ericsbikeadventuresforfun it’s pretty similar to the Hooch drop at Bryce. If you can do the one at Blue you can do it at Bryce. Lots of people are friendly and will tow you off the drop if you ever need a guide for the first time off it.

That new drop looks sick. Does it make it easier to get the speed for the jumps afterwards?
@CallumCussenАй бұрын
@@lincolnpatchett7364 it does. The change from the two turns to now a nice drop really has improved the trail.
@lincolnpatchett7364Ай бұрын
@@CallumCussen nice. I was there a couple months ago with my best friend and those two turns were near impossible for me to carry speed through.

honestly I found it made it easier to overshoot the first table, kinda needs a bit of a brake check to not huck to flat. trail speed is perfect for the drop though.

I saw Callum Cussen and Crunchy and thought- Oh I gotta watch this, this should be good. Did not disappoint. Where was your camera mounted? I miss seeing the bars- it lets me as a viewer understand what the trail is like by seeing what the bike is doing (stabilization is so good it’s hard to get a sense for the trail) and how you are moving your body position on the bike. Just my. 2 cents though. 🤙
