Eeeeh. One department that I think Dota 2 lose in to LOL is character design. Dota 2 has extremely low amount of COOL characters.

Wish they could update other arcanas with new item effects like LC arcana dagger or blade mail

Mk arcana hat is actually pretty accurate to chinese mythology. Arcana is supposed to be sun wukong before he got exiled from heaven by buddha. Its when he was a god in heaven and that hat and feather is his crown hat being monkey KING. Having head band wont make sense because he only gets that after he is exiled and freed by a monk and you can see it on his base design.

I think Valve went lore accurate with mk's arcana design there, golden headband will go against what the armor tell about his story at the time which I believe is during when he battles the heaven, he only get the golden headband is after he lose the battle.

LC's Arcana was one of the early ones and Valve was still experimenting on what they could do with the "new" Arcana category, but it certainly feels they had an "Arcana set" concept that they only explored and implemented in the later ones. LC's Arcana is made a 100x better with her red Immortal Cape (unlocked second style) and those two were definitely in that aforementioned "Arcana set". The dual blades combined with those wings "opening" when using Press the Attack is just...so freakin awesome! I almost don't play LC anymore, but that item combo is part of my mini-profile/profile display just because of how cool it looks.

This series has been awesome, I cant argue much with the ratings as they were so validly true...not all arcanas are done equally, ahem valve. Pudge's will always be my favorite, it looks clean and proper considering he is as nasty as any hero can be and yet we have this beauty. We appreciate your love for the community Wilson, more power

hard disagree on the pa arcana lore, oracle sucessfully gave a false promise to his would be assassin and probably created another hero in the process and i think thats very cool

I had a whole mandela effect on MK's arcana, at first I though the custome dragon circling Wukongs Command was the arcana effect but no, It was an immortal cape that also changes color along with the Arcana which I thought would be cool if THAT along with primal spring was in the base Arcana other than being a separate Immortal. No comments on Pudge's arcana, it's nice overall PA's arcana is something for me MUST have, since it's a straight upgrade to the bland hero she is. Plus I love the immortal that go along with the Arcana, making her more glitching out and slowly becoming a spectre. Her lore and the entire lore of the Sisters are a bit vague but... Muerta and PA's persona explained some of the lore of the Sisters and Oracle, and Yes the Sisters of the Veil are stupid drones, hence Muerta hated them and Oracle so much because of lore reasons. WK's arcana is just him before the Wraith Night, if my memory serves right, Valve made an entire Event Wraith Night were you fight Wraith King(similar to DarkMoon and FrostHaven), it was an excuse event to the Model change to Skeleton to Wraith to avoid copyrights from Blizzard, so in general he was always Skeleton King before, Wraith night happened and he becomes the Wraith King

I'm surprised no one said about that, but ES' arcana gives a LOT of info in hero's responses. (I think rare ones (constantly clicking the hero) gives the most info) I don't know if you checked all of the ES' responses with arcana, but if you didn't, you should I assume you already know that heroes and especially arcana responses are the biggest lore bombs, bigger than any item description
