I remember a time when you could buy Aegis (x3) and it gave you 3 lives and 30 armor, if I recall correctly. When I would just occupy a piece of the map with old techies and noone would ever venture there for the entirety of the game (the 5 second AoE stun traps were busted beyond reason). When Bash abilities and items used to stack and had no cd (Troll just be looking at you while constantly bashed :), and Spectre's Disperse gave a chance to have a 100% deflect and return dmg. Still remember a certain Lion jumping on my no hp Spec, dispersed his stun, the autoattack and he killed himself with the finger :D Needless to say Alt+Q+Q followed with the speed of light. Can't blame the guy, tbh.

I played HON, it was my intro to dota 2 and, in many ways, a better version of dota (at least at the time) with unique and interesting heroes. Really miss that game.

Yes Jugg arcana was such a disappointment, good rating on that. You also gave Spectre arcana the props it deserves. Qop arcana was also a banger, I believe it was a pay-2-win arcana unfortunately.

Speaking of QoP arcana I wouldn't call her pay to win but being usually a pos 3 player with enough melee heroes played the whip animation for close distance attacks feels very good and smooth and maybe even helps me with last hits. Maybe. But it's still a joy to whip creeps and heroes. And don't get me started on possibilities how you can customize this bitch with different items, immortals and stuff maybe for spell effects, the beauty lies in more revealing clothing

Some arcanas that you gave low ratings done poorly because of big amount of imortatls and other sets which is mathces with arcana. I don't say you are wrong.

In the Demo you cant use Juggernaut Arcana origins for some reason also but not just that,not only do they not give Arcana Jugg new animations,his normal Jugg animations look silly and shit

The jugg skin goes really well with his arcana, all the ambient colors change, even the belt and hair

Another good video, just something I noticed from when I've played the Jug arcana voice pack broke when they separated pudge and jug cosmetics from the arcana base, so the mask and back slot and made it so the arcana is the body base slot or whatever they called it, that separation always made jug voice the sfx version even if you have voice pack equipped

You were actually on spot on Voids arcana, he really became the being he wants to kill. Though his arcana animation sometimes do look stiff which is ironic for the amount of tentacles he has I agree on the Jug arcana, it's just BLUE(or Orange style 2) all over the place. Sure the new direction of making the arcana no longer stick with the "original mask" splitting but a possibility of different masks is kinda nice, still it is SCREAMING with BLUE and got that poor animation treatment. Though I wish you go talk about the different styles of these Arcanas, Note Worthy would be ES, Drow, Venge, Skywrath and PA

Does somebody remebers in dota 1 when you jump with mirana you could at the same time fire the arrow backwards. It looks like firing the arrow from the tigers tail. Another big bug was casting morfs firts spell from a clif into roshan and getting stuck inside him, while being stuck roshan you could attack him but him could not attack you.

1st of all Morphling reminds me of a specific Slug from Slugterra 2nd Yurnero should have been the same as WC3 reforged just add the mask,idk why they made him shorter and smaller,he doesnt even have his original skin color 3rd a lot of characters look really cartoony like they came from some special TF2 event or even fortnite

I'm hopeful that Time Zone will be given effects... at some point. Who knows when. But people actually pick and use time zone because its been given so many buffs, and the chrono facet doesn't have the extra bonus now. The thing about Valve is that they like to push a lot of ideas, some of which they remove later. When it isn't item related, they usually keep the effects to a minimum. Mirana's leap shard used to just use dragon slave, which is obviously super lazy. But they eventually got it into a decent state, and then they added proper effects for it. Given how Time Zone is already good just a few months after it was created, hopefully we will see the chrono effect (or even a new effect :O) added to Time Zone.

Can we please consider 2nd styles of each arcana? Its a huge part of it. The design and system of getting the 2nd style. Is it too easy like jugg's arcana? Is it too hard like spectre's arcana? Is it intuitive like wraith kings and pudge? Is it rewarding? Is it satisfying once you earn it or do you find yourself choosing the default style? Like the pudge's arcana is fine with both styles but the spectre's and faceless 2nd style is such a great color change and style. Id never take the default over the 2nd. I think thats something to consider.

Jugg Arcana was a coup from Valve. The 2016 Arcana Vote's Final was Juggernaut VS Io the Wisp. The meme players actually teamed up I got that lame ball into the final vote and you can bet all playerbase that wasnt a weeb voted for it. Note that IO didnt have a single item until then, while Juggernaut always had love and had cooler sets than the arcana already. Any workshop item (the very few) were really underwhelming, boring, simple and you bet Valve didnt have anything better in their hands. Also, what would sell more upon lauch? Juggernaut, the King of Weebs, The Nooblord, or the least played hero across all brackets with an unpractical solar system base model with no personality? So they did a coup and announced Juggernaut and crafted this generic lame ass arcana to get the big bucks while the Wisp arcana was rewarded in the next year in the Compendium, unlocked at a super crazy high level. So even with the Io Arcana they managed to get big bucks, even if most players only got it as a collateral from buying compendium levels anyway. The Portal Cube while iconic is a trash arcana tho. The Aztec deathball immortal is way cooler

Techies has Prismatic Gems so you can customize the color in any way you want and I think it is cool AF. I love the arcana and actually use it but ever since that Elephant Mount Immortal item was released it is so hard to justify not shooting bananas

Nice video, but if i may, can you also review the style 2 of the arcanas too? Some style 2s are way better than the default (for me Drow, Venge, Sky, Wraith King, Jugg) and some style 2s are just bad (for me its Razor and Ogre)
