Are you still running the 35” trail saws? How do you like them so far, how did they do in Moab? Any issues with 35’s on the can am?
@A5Off-Road9 күн бұрын
Yes I still have the 35” Trail Saws. I love the 35” tires on the Can Am. The trail saws have been a great all around tire. Excellent for trail riding and pretty good traction in sand. They get the job done on the rocks but I would definitely like some sticky Rockzilla’s if we decide to get into the Rocks more than we do.

Do those DW bolts replace the original shock bolts entirely? Or need to put original shock bolts back in once ready for riding?

They replace the lower shock bolt. No swapping back and forth.

Nah with sand tires you want the 35s. Sand tires are WAY lighter then dirt/mud tires so going bigger doesnt hurt you. Those 35s combined probably weight less then 1 32" dirt/mud tire

Were your original tires Carnivore 32"s and if so, how would you compare the 35" Trail Saws, especially on trails and dunes at Sand Hollow.

@A5Off-RoadАй бұрын
It will depend on what type of riding you do. I have really liked my Sedona Trail Saw tires. They have been a good all around tire. I would recommend a bead lock wheel with a 4-3 offset for the DS. It will make it a little wider and more stable. With that

@A5Off-Road6 ай бұрын
In my opinion, the 35’s are worth it. I know that a little clutch work would give me back the little bit of power the 35’s stole. For the kind of riding that I do, I will take 35” tires over the 32” all day. Unless you’re doing a lot of sand but I have paddle tires for the sand dunes. I have not upgraded any part of my clutch and so far I do not plan too.

The best solution is to put small automotive spare tires on all four corners. This way you get extra space and don’t beat the heck out of yourself and trailer. My Turbo R4 fits in a normal toy hauler without issue. It’s the slide outs that can screw you.
