Ive had 32 and 35 trail saws. 6 to 8 psi and send it. I love them. It'll be hard to go to another tire.

I’m really liking the trail saws. I’m glade I went with them. They are 100 times better than the tusk terribites I replaced.

I went 33”s due to unsprung weight. Gearing, braking and the total effect on shock performance is what I was looking at. When you go up 50%+ in unsprung weight, all those things come into play. If I could figure out how to retrofit the 2023 clutch setup to my 2021 I’d be a happy guy.
@A5Off-Road Жыл бұрын
The p clutch in the newer machine will fit your 2021 machine.

@@A5Off-Road really? Here can I find an update kit and do you know anything about that update?
@A5Off-Road Жыл бұрын
You can get the p drive clutch from any can am dealer. Go check out adrenaline cycles videos from one year ago and you can see that they work in the older machines.

Would that mean if I have a 2000lbs UTV and add another 1000lbs in accessories?
@mrb96426 ай бұрын
From a braking efficiency standpoint, 1,000 pounds of extra weight would be comparable to 500 lbs in extra rotating weight. Max weight. according to the manual is 2,804 is max loaded weight or GVWR, with a dry weight of 1,870 lbs. If you add wheels and tires that weigh 50lbs combined more than stock, that’s like adding 100 lbs of accessories from a braking perspective. So you can add 900lbs to the unit total for GVWR. Now you are down to 800 lbs after adding 50lbs additional in wheel/tires. All that effects braking, springs, ride height, shock performance and suspension wear. It’s not a simple, I went to 35’s and therefore Can Am should just send them out on 35’s. Everything is tuned to a tire/wheel weight limit and when you go outside of that you affect performance and longevity. Carrying 4 occupants….their weight figures into that remaining 800 lbs. winch, roof rack, Jack…..they all count towards the GVWR. Hope that helps.

That looks great! Are your rims offsets 5+2 or 6+1?

Umm… I’m pretty sure that they are 6+1 offset.

I’m looking into a xrs did you have to lift in order to fit 35s or is that stock height have 32s on my ds from 2019 but I’m wanting the rs 4 seater and love your max very beautiful
@A5Off-Road11 ай бұрын
35’s fit on an RS 72” wide machine with no changes. I did follow shock therapy’s recommendations on ride height for tire size. You can find that video on shock Therapy’s KZbin channel.

How does it feel running 35s?? I’m currently running 32s & want to upgrade to 35s but not sure if have to upgrade my spring & weights
@A5Off-Road7 ай бұрын
In my opinion, the 35’s are worth it. I know that a little clutch work would give me back the little bit of power the 35’s stole. For the kind of riding that I do, I will take 35” tires over the 32” all day. Unless you’re doing a lot of sand but I have paddle tires for the sand dunes. I have not upgraded any part of my clutch and so far I do not plan too.
@FavianRodriguez-hm7sd4 ай бұрын
Do you have trouble turning with the 35s and all you add was the dual therapy spring kit?
@A5Off-Road4 ай бұрын
I added the Shock Therapy springs and removed my sway bar. The steering has not changed. It turns the same as it did with the 32” tires.

I am curious if that heavy of a tire and wheel causes any issues. I am adding 33" tensor DS's on a Venom wheel this week to my max. Total weight is 48 pounds.

People need to stop lifting their sxs by the center rear, you're putting stress and over extending the CV's... Put a jack underneath the trailing arm and lift one side at time...

I purchased a set of spacers from Amazon, but the bolts did not come all the way through from the touch to the spacers. Is that normal?
