here's one info you didn't cover about Suriname. The country has the largest percentage of Muslims per population in the Americas (disclaimer: I'm not Surinamese, but I do love geography). Most of these Muslims are ethnically Javanese, who are descendants of indentured labourers brought over by the Dutch from the Dutch East Indies (now-Indonesia, which is where I'm actually from).

If Turkey is located in Europe and Asia. That mean that the eastern part of Turkey is in Asia. If Azerbaijan is east of Turkey, how is it in Europe?

Because the Caucasus mountains and the Caspian sea are the borders between Europe and Asia in that area with the Ural river and mountains further north, both of them further Eastern than Turkey. Useful to mention that the border between Europe and Asia is more of a political and cultural nature as both of them are geophysically part of the same land mass.

The country of Russia is the largest country in Europe, not Ukraine. The part of Russia in Europe is 1’532,500 square miles, and Ukraine is 233,062 square miles. The whole size of Russia including the Asian part is 6’601,670 square miles, making it the largest country in Asia too.

You can choose what you want to visit first, but I recommend Senegal. Their hospitality is amazing. Also Egypt, cause who doesn’t want to see the pyramids? South Africa is also an amazing country and they’re making a lot of great changes to their laws.

Fact: Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country and has the most islands in this region, but Indonesia is not Oceania. They are Asian. ( for several reasons such as larger islands, a strong economy and many resources. Making several Oceania island countries quite jealous of Indonesia 😏 )

The map at 3:02 is a “little bit” outdated. It probably dates back all the way to approximately 1938-1939, as the map shows Germany with its eastern territories, including Konigsberg ( Kaliningrad after 1945), Poland is obviously lacking those territories that Germany has at this moment, the USSR exists and Yugoslavia and Greater Romania ( the latter lost Northwestern Transylvania, Besserabia, Bukovina, The Hertsa region and South Dobruja, namely Durostor and Caliacra during and after the summer of 1940) and are still around. Why didn’t he show a modern map? Some people may think that this is the actual world map.
