Well we took the leap to order the kit to refurbish a very worn leather chair. The directions and utube video was very helpful. The color match was astoundingly accurate. This product restored our leather chair to practically bran new look. Some worn areas took up to 4 applications but the results were very satisfying. We'll see how it stands the test of time. There was enough product left to do another chair. Other than the ridiculously expensive price of $250 for 2 little bottles , the poduct does as advertised.

This dye did not do well in Florida heat. After 6 months seats were very sticky and lint from clothes stuck to surface. Using their maintenance products did not help. In the end putting on new seat covers from Richmond upholstery was easier and result were new seats. This job of re dying was a very frustrating and disappointing process for me. Re upholstering was a much more rewarding experience and I love the results. I was apprehensive/intimidated by prospect of doing reupholstery myself but after doing it really was easier than redying. Cost of dye and sealers/maintenance products $300. Cost of new covers $1100. New covers are way to go. Seats are really like new now.

how much dye is needed for a loveseat couch that reclines? the small, medium, or large?

The problems I see is matching the color. I went to get a dye for a Kate Spade & of course, It was slightly different. I did spread it out, & it does look better than before, but the entire bag would need to be done. This was to correct a dye transfer. Also, If you have peeling, & you do all of this work, it seems to me that very soon the entire jacket is going to be peeling anyway. At least in my case with boots, jackets & purses I've tossed, that was the case.

Any tips for streaming from too much dye in too hot of weather

Why doesn't anybody show how to remove scuff marks on cadillac car seats that doesn't require dye or washing. Can scuffs be rubbed back to smooth? To blend back in with the rest that is flat

Well Done. Motorhome manufacturers use budget materials at a premium price. The cushions start peeling after a couple of years and what a mess!. Recovering is very expensive. If you catch the peeling soon, you can prevent/repair it until you save up $3000 - $4,000 to re-upholster.
