Dead head, it's dead head. The term is dead head not dead hand. Not hating on you at all, it's just driving me nuts lol. Thanks for the video though, gave me a very good understanding of the APP and loads. It's called dead head from back in the day. The tractor unit was the head, it's dead without a load, hence dead heading.

Thx for showing the real of this industry. Im new, and looking for my pickup and trailer stage right now. I love how you show the process. Everybody else acts like getting loads is quick and easy. And this shows its clearly not. Looks like a lot of down time trying to negotiate fair rates and such. And i can imagine the no call backs are high af. Again thanks for the heads up so i can adjust for the knowledge of how these companies are.

@@AdjudicatorBrbal of course! Think of it this way. The newer your company the more time youll spend on loadboards looking for loads. The more age your company has the better and you eventually even have your own shippers that work with you directly! Id say the average youll spend on the load board is 3-5 hrs a week once you get 60 days under your belt
