If gyms don't put on show specific do's and don't's of a gym why should anyone adhere to unwritten rules, and this is exactly what happens. Only yesterday an individual at my local gym decided that it was acceptable to take ownership of a Smith Bench for 25 minutes whilst using his stupid phone. I went over and asked him if he'd finished yet and he said he had 3 sets left, but he seemed confused, I reminded him he'd been on the bench simply using his phone. When you're dealing with people who are sometimes much bigger than you are, things can get hairy.

Just wanted to say, I never ever comment on KZbin videos, but yours deserved it!! I had tried the assisted pull up machine and resistance bands for two months into my training which were helping but were not the most efficient tools . then stumbled into this video and decided to give it a go! Within 3 weeks of implementing I got my first pull up, and started progressing at a rate of 1 pull up per week ! Thank you ever so much! I can now do 7 ring pull ups , and am aiming to learn the explosive variation! Next goal is a muscle up!!

Valsalva maneuver triggers pots so again makes sense why I've had this since I was a young child. You learn to avoid the activities and muscle engagement that increases symptoms.

So this is what's wrong with me. I've never had any vertical lines in my stomach only this dome and I'm very thin. Not surprisingly because I have POTS and am weak all over. 😢 My back is rounded, domer stomach and who knows what else. What a mess. I'm hideous.

I've always had this problem and the only thing people could tell me is to activate my core, but how? Thank you for this. I'll be "ssssssssssssssss'ing" for a while until I condition my psoas to automatically not dome.

For my entire life, I have never learned to properly engage my core muscles. Other than the diaphragm (which is my main muscle for my breathing techniques as a French horn player), the rest of these muscles are either anorexic or totally inactive. Whenever I "engage" that area, I can not breathe at all, always in an apnea state. I've talked to many doctors and physical therapists about that big issue, but they all have brushed it aside, saying stuff as "it's just your head that does this".
