Great video - what did you use for your high arial shots? I liked the clarity of those.

I'm noticing some halation on the shots at the park bench. Did you guys add a mist filter to the rig?

I had a chat with some creators on Threads about the native ISO for Apple LOG. The only clear consesus I got was to shoot lower ISOs to reduce noise. Nice to see you all did some tests to figure out some specific numbers. I'd also add for anyone that's interested in that FilmBox to also give Scatter a try (another plug-in from the same folks who made FilmBox). It allows you to artificially mimic literally any lens filter out there (ie. Black ProMist, GlimmerGlass, Black Satin,). I imagine that would also be cool to add to iPhone footage.

Different question - what microphone are you using on the camera to record this video? I noticed there was no lapel mic or anything like that on you. I'd love to know what you used to shoot this video, and specifically what mic you used to capture the audio, because it's wonderful. That's my biggest struggle outside of the studio environment - what mic to use to record outdoors, traveling, around the building, etc. Is the mic mounted on your camera? I assume you used a DSLR to shoot the footage? I'm currently using a Sony A7 IV in the studio to record things for church. We have a RODE VideoMic NTG Hybrid Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone AND - is there a mic you can use with your iphone to capture great sound?

Does that SmallRig case come for the iPhone 15 Pro and not the Pro Max? I don't see just a Pro version.

Am I crazy or most people will benefit A LOT by having at least some warmer light pointed their way? Otherwise there is some risk of looking like a ghost. Skin tones come alive with a little 4k or warmer. Even our man at 7:43 I'd say looks a little pale.

Recommendations for a good zoom lens for church photography to pair with the Sony A6400?

I tried using a Nikon DSLR camera for video input, but the video lagged behind the audio (I had a line coming in from my mixer into the computer). DO these options also have this issue?

I'd argue as well that 2-4 300W COB LED video lights would definitely be a lot less expensive than pro fixtures for stage lights. The only thing I wasn't sure about would be DMX capability, but Aputure/Amaran, Godox, and Zhiyun are making lights like that. For $1500, you could get 4 Aputure 300x lights - enough to spot and wash a smaller stage - rather than $4000-6000 on 4 pinspot lights all DMX controlled and professionally integrated.

Dang those lights pack a value! For backlight, I'd suggest pointing it opposite (but still from the rear) of the key. Her shoulder closest to the frame needs that separation a bit more than the other because of the ambient lighting. Imagine the lighting bouncing off the environment she's in rather than lighting just *her*. Maybe even a practical that's warmer in temp on that left side of the frame? Still, an excellent video and great info as always!
