I literally lost it when you were getting frustrated with Resolve! Thank you so much for leaving that in there. This is every church video editor in a nutshell!!! 🤣😭💀

My favourite part of your video is watching you fight with that extra frame on the out point. I feel your pain and love that you didn't edit that out of this video. Has happened to me in FCPX before too, so many times. I thought it might be that I was using mixed frame content (a project that I've set to 24 frames, but content that is in 30 frames or 29.97)

Up and down arrow keys will move the playhead forward and back 1 second. The comma and period will move the selected clip forward and backward 1 frame. You're welcome.

I'm not great with Audio...how do you go about looping the audio before you get to the video looping steps? Thanks Brady, always love your guidance!
@prochurchtools9 ай бұрын
I really just count out the Beats 1, 2, 3, 4 with my hand and then stop the play button on the 1 and cut there.

I love this!!! I already have one made from a mini-series my pastor preached on wisdom in the home. And Brady...I did find a faster way to make the seamless loop with DR lol

Thank you! What is your opinion of a church’s page having camera and phone pictures (a lot of phone pics)?
@prochurchtools9 ай бұрын
There are to axes for social: depth and width. A post like this is great for width and reaching MORE people. Photo posts of your church’s community are great for deeper with YOUR people. Having both kinds of posts is ideal for a well-rounded approach to social.

Do you have a recommendation where to source royalty free music? Don't mind paying and have used epedemic sound in the past. Just didn't know if you had a go to?

We use Soundstripe

Ambient/Worship pads also work great for easy looping audio.

For years (long before I got a hold of it), my church's Facebook page has used a photo of our smiling lead pastor for a profile picture. It seems a little strange that we don't use the church logo, but there might be some logic to it, in that it may create a sense of relational connection? What do you think? Should I keep it, or change it to our logo (which is pretty good)?
@prochurchtools9 ай бұрын
I think both are true. Strange that a church's Facebook page would have a photo of their pastor. But probably better for engagement because it's a real human.
@RealBenAnderson9 ай бұрын
@@prochurchtools honestly I don’t know if it is better, I have nothing to benchmark it against. The page has just always had his photo as the profile pic

Is there a way to produce with Canva and have the "safe area" overlay? We don't have Photoshop.

As someone who works with resolve. The extra frame output is so annoying. at this point I always arrow key one frame to the left before I hot key the outpoint.
