You guys manifested it after last week’s vid! This is what Roy wanted. Agreed that puli’s disparity in performance is quite large. It’s difficult to measure him against Rafa rn, because Rafa is clearly having an off season. Yes, could be the freshness of a new coach and need to do better at this point in his career that’s igniting his spirit, but he also seems to be in a new healthy, happy relationship. Never know what’s happening bts that’s motivating these players!

The Richarilson sitch makes me sad :( such a creative player but plagued by injuries etc. I agree that vini looked like a weak link for Brazil esp during copa, if neymar is back, i think it will just be a symbol, don’t think he will take on a huge presence role on the pitch

Graham has been a solid coach. Unfortunately the dutch (Rotterdam?) style of football has been great for our development... (very conservative) but up against serious opposition... esp quickly progressing Asian opposition getting used to our overtly physical defensive style... it won't cut it.

Japan's soccer growth can be attributed to its youth development system. For players aiming to turn professional at 15, they choose between high school clubs or professional team academies, selecting the team that best suits their personality and playing style. High school clubs also have a high level of competition, and many players who became part of the Japanese national team started in high school. Players like Honda, Asano, and Kamada all transitioned to professional football from high school clubs. Players who do not make it to the professional level often play for university teams, and a significant factor behind Japan's growth is university soccer. Players like Mitoma, Morita, Ito, and Ueda became professionals after graduating from university at around 23 years old. University soccer in Japan is competitive on a global scale, and there have been multiple instances where university teams have defeated J1 league strongholds in tournaments like the Emperor's Cup (FA Cup). The experience of playing at a high level during the crucial 18 to 22 years of age is incredibly valuable. In Europe, only standout players are loaned to lower-league teams, but Japan's university soccer system addresses this issue by providing high-level playing opportunities.

As a barca fan lamine has the most potential to be messi’s level. They play at the same position, similar playstyle in cutting left on the wing. Only thing is that lamine doesnt attempt as many through balls like messi did and the players he takes on arent either. But at age 17 the sky is the ceiling for him and i hope i witness another talent like messi in him. Messi obviously is the goat, but it took him around age 20 (2007) to be established as a top 5 player in the world, lamine is doing it at 17

You are absolutely correct. No one will reach the level of Messi and the joy Messi brought to the football world. Go watch the videos when he was a baby playing for Rosario, he is more joy to watch than Lamin Yamal, I don’t enjoy him , he makes good plays only , there are lots of players who makes good plays that are available at this time. like you said he will be a very very good player buy stop comparing anyone anyone to Messi in fact its an insult to Messi.

Reading the comments from Australian channels, it seems that there had been dissatisfaction of Arnold's work long before the qualification matches, even years. That being said, the last 2 performances against Bahrain and Indonesian, is kinda the nail on the coffin for Arnold.

Indonesia's low FIFA ranking is just an illusion, Scaloni (Argentina's coach) was interviewed after the match against Indonesia and said that Indonesia played like a top 50 FIFA ranking country. So when Australia was held to a draw by Indonesia, it didn't mean that Australia was bad but that Indonesia was improving.
@jamesvass7379 күн бұрын
Top 50? Possibly around 100 but not higher. Australia has significant problems in Asian club competitions and youth national team competitions which are poor indicators for the national team.

@@jamesvass737 This team has only been formed for 2 to 3 years, while the Indonesian FiFa Ranking is an accumulation of points from 30-40 years, so the FIFA ranking does not reflect the quality of the Indonesian team at this time, the number of good players playing in Europe is the same as Australia, that's why yesterday it could match Australia. Talking about the Fifa ranking, objectively if Indonesia had not been banned by FiFA in 2016, then when coach STY joined in 2020, Indonesia's FiFa ranking could not be much different from Thailand and Vietnam now at 100 to 110, we add the increase in the FIFA ranking during coach sty which was 44 ranks, so Indonesia's FiFA rank should be 110 - 40 = 70 FiFA ranking. But in my opinion, in terms of the quality of the players, Indonesia is currently equivalent to a country with a top 50 .
