5 hp isn’t really going to be that much of a difference. It really came downs to the increase weight of the vehicle.

I just put in the Bama 93 tune on my 14 and soft throttle is gone and tranny is better But I want to ask them for 2-400 more rpm on shifts they are still too soft.

I did some research and developed a great Intake System for the 3.7. Plus 70at the low end and plus 40 at the high end! I hope to make it available soon. Still working on that.

Kid wtf are you talking about I wish I would've pro charged my v6 I already stripped the v6 down to the bare block for a swap but don't be saying when you pro charge it or turbocharge it makes the community look bad, what makes it look bad is driving around with straight pipes and no performance that's the problem. They're looked at as not fast. That's literally why they get made fun of not bc they made the car faster kid
@toxicity6629
@toxicity6629 2 ай бұрын
Y'all were accepted a lot more years ago nowadays you need to have a v6 be fast or it's gonna get called garbage bc technically it is😂just being honest like that's the exact reason why bro it's not bc you made your car fast that doesn't even make a lick of sense

Haha that why my 2017 ford transit is fast, it’s come with a 6 speed auto does the stang has that Tran. It’s great as if Iam cruzing it shift fast and use the torque 3 gear at 25 mph that why Iam getting 20 mpg. The trick is to double tap the trottle to make it shift from first to 2 th at 10 mph iv got a eco mpg meter gage to watch.

2014 76k mile v6 mustang I pay $417 monthly and $308 insurance (I never had my own insurance and I got my first car in my name at 25 all my previous ones were hand me downs) so ofc I’m getting taxed on the insurance cause it’s also considered a sports car by insurance companies.

ehh, idk if it's better than the 4.6. I think the 3.7 is more efficient, lighter, is (in my opinion) more reliable, and has better tech going for it than the 4.6 like dohc, but the 4.6 makes more power, makes more torque, sounds better (probably my favorite sounding V8), and simply put there's no replacement for displacement so if you're doing things like basic bolt ons with the 4.6 you will gain more power than a 3.7 with similar mods. Also most exhausts (not all, mine sounds good) for the V6 are raspy, loud, and annoying. I still love the V6 and it's a great american alternative to something like a 370z/g37 or hyundai genesis, I raced a g37 sedan at a 60 roll and we were neck and neck till I let off at around 110 due to traffic (done in mexico ofc). So yeah the V6 is great for the price and I'm tired of people acting like it isn't worthy of being a sports car, if you buy a V6 the biggest thing you won't like about the car is what other people say about it.

The very first and number one mod (also the cheapest) for these particular cars 11-14 S197 3.7L Cyclone V6 that nobody mentions is 91 Octane fuel!!! … after 3 full tanks the car wakes up!!! I have the 2011 automatic and with the mountain assist on the wizards at Ford actually programmed the computer to adjust a number of things when 91 fuel is detected! Even with the 273 gears this car is amazing! Shift points seem to be improved and tighter shifts as well…. Holds gears when you lift your foot off the accelerometer and automatically downshifts on point to keep the revs up when slowing down! The only other mod to my fully loaded MCA with the factory polished 18” rims is a set of Yellow Koni Adjustables adjusted to the lightest setting. … WOW! absolutely the cheapest thrill on four wheels on the planet today! I found my 129k mile beauty for $6000! With just going to 91 octane and adding the Konis this humble base model becomes a GTS (S is for Sleeper) and is a show stopper for just $6000 + the shocks on the factory Base V6 springs!!! THANK YOU Ford! The Cheap American Muscle Car Era lives on!!!

I tried 93 twice with a nearly empty tank on my 2014 MCA and reset computer each time and it did nothing. Just bought the Bama X4 and the 93 tune woke this car up. The throttle response works now and the shifts are better but still not high enough revs for shift points. And it seems the flat spot at 2800-3k is gone. These cars need a tune the Ford engineers tuned these for girls and grandmas. My next upgrade will be the 3.73 from 2.73 it will launch so much faster. It's not as fast as my 2012 Acura TL with 25 less hp but much better.

I read about the carbon buildup problems with the Ecoboost so going with a V6 was a no brainer for me. I didn't know you could put higher octane gas for an easy performance boost. Love my 2015 V6 Stang!

I've owned my 2015 V6 Auto for 8.61 years as of today (7.1.23) and have right at 43,200 miles on it. It's the Automatic but I use "S" mode and initiate every single up and down shift. The last time the transmission shifted for me was probably several years ago. I find the engine to have just enough torque, just enough revs, and just the right gearing vs. weight vs. road speed. Nice sound, and the transmission never disappoints me. I am on my third set of tires on it. Originally it had the 235/50-18s and I found them ponderous. Next round I went with 235/45-18s (can't remember the brand / type). Recently I moved to 235/40-18s with the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, and the car just handles very nicely for a big car. Yes, my speedometer reads a little higher than reality, but I also reduced unsprung weight just a bit, reduced sidewall flex, and lowered the effective gearing just a tad. The car also sits just about an inch lower. The ride is still great, and the wheel wells are still filled out nicely from an appearance standpoint. Low points would be the barebones interior and the lackluster audio (compared to my last two cars, a 2007 Civic Si and a 2012 Scion FR-S, both of which had far clearer and fuller audio). I find the seats and driving position decent enough although I tend to have the seat up as high as it will go. Only modification I've made other than the tires has been to paint the hood matte black. I did this not to make it look like a carbon fiber hood but to remove a distracting glare / sun glint coming off the rightside crease in the hood and blinding me. It worked. It hasn't all been perfect. The AC went out in 2018, and Ford wanted a shocking $2400 to fix it. I bought a thirty dollar can of AC Pro in 2019 and it has been blowing cold for four years now. Had the brake light actuator stopper disintegrate, replaced with small neodymium magnets (there's a recall on this item now but when it happened to me Ford wanted $700 to fix it!). Also had the door latch issue occur, which was fixed under recall right in my driveway by the traveling Ford dealership mechanic! Also had the rear camera die, also replaced under recall. Other than that, NO PROBLEMS. The engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, frame, and all other electronic and interior elements are rock solid.
