Can you recommend any strategies for adapting to new situations?"

Those self improvement videos helped me become a better version of my yesterday self, I don't know about others if they apply what they are learning from self improvement videos that they watch.

Self improvement doesn’t work if it serves as a mean of self-detachment. Some parts your authentic self were neglected or damaged in your childhood. And you are just continuing to treat yourself the same way. It may take many forms: neglecting your needs, becoming numb, getting into addictions, focusing on your job, etc. Our civilisation provides us with all kinds of way to do it. Focusing on productivity and self-improvement is just another way to run away from your self. You don’t want to deal with that part of you that’s not productive, or has fears, or has pain, or anger, or other emotions. Basically you’re just saying to yourself: “No, no, no. I don’t want to deal with someone like you. Go away.”

damn already got triggered by hearing that jerk hamza, we really need to stop watching that shit. Thanks for the wake up call. Get some time with yourself in an empty room and enjoy boredom, afterwards you can do everything in your mind. Silence is the key, attention is your currency.

I have been waiting for YT to recommend this vid to me. Ever since, I have been stuck in this cycle and don't know wat to do or implement on my current life, but now when my vision is more clear thanks to you, I was able to escape from being hopeless and continue to watch the same topic over and over.

I'm using an extension so no videos show up on the sidelines of the page so I can just focus on the main video playing. This helps a lot in avoiding clicking on other videos to watch and wasting time.
