Men tend to not respect women that are assertive , especially if she's not at an equal level. I usua. I usually say the managers are managing me and not above me because they are serving me, including the senior managers.

Great video about learning fundamentals through the process of tutorials and practice. I really appreciate this as that's where I'm at right now. Other comments seem off when they demand code that wasn't promised in the tile or description.

Answer: Social engineering through screens + human laziness. It's easier to outsource personal responsibility than it is to actually reason. Therefore, unthinking masses regurgitate binary responses from screen programming, never considering that they live the same lives as the "evil others". At the top level, the motivation is divide and conquer. We are literally living in the matrix, and our screens are the control elements.

I am an aspiring swe game dev watching in 2024 and it really sucked to see that A LOT of the ladies mentioned in this video have deactivated or simply no longer make content or have changed paths completely. BUT there are three that did stand out to me: tayllorlloyd: she is still active on youtube/tiktok/instagram, and creates inspiring and quality content. bytesofbree: she's active, the content is quality and the resources she shares are accessible and clearly outlined via her site. nicole.young is one of the women who hasn't posted in a year, but I love that she has some gold nuggets on her youtube channel and could surprise us all with a pop up! myself, i am still finding my footing, but stop by my channel and let me know what you think!

Amen to all of this! I know I don’t fit any one label. So when I dare to bring up something that is “controversial,” I have to be ready to defend myself and don’t feel free to have my own thoughts and question things.

i found my people 😭😭😭 even after successfully using a calendar for months now, I realize that I only really find 50% of the things I put there to be actually useful. the rest just subconsciously stresses me out and takes up mental space!

Yes, the companies I have worked for CONSTANTLY failed to make target earnings. Except, it's not like, the earning are going down or anything, oh no, it's like, last year we did 120, the target is set at 150, we do 145 "Oh, we are far behind target, no bonus... Next year's target: 165" we make 160 "Ouch, no bonus, we failed the target..." these are not capitalists, they are slave drivers.

I am 57, IT engineer. after ten years working in Salesforce (and before that, 20 years as full stack developer) I am leaving it, and moving to Data Science/ Databases. Have to do something until I get retired (yet 10 years). But on the first place, I like my job, and I want to stay in IT 😊

I'm sorry, but I do not have any other social media accounts to share with anybody. I like to keep my stuff private and I always think about the what-ifs whenever it comes time for me to look for a job. Social media accounts can work against you. It can cost you your job. It can hinder your chances of becoming a candidate for a job. It can ruin your business. Your potential mate may not want to F with you, just off the things you share and post online. There are a lot of things that will be revealed to you through social media. If you're going to have social media, leave room for people to get to know more about you through interaction. All of your thoughts and feelings should be left up to the person who is trying to get to know you.
