Tech companies have good marketers, and that's the key. They are able to push all informations to the internet society. But none can assure how reliable AI is. The people's job replacement by AI will take a long time in the future. Hundred years later maybe. Unless one can prove it statistically or with a certain method today.

Classic case of denial. She said it herself, "Let's not think about that. Hopefully I will be dead." I have heard this line on repeat over the course decades from countless conversations I've had about the obsolescence of all human labor within my lifetime. Progress doesn't stop simply because we are alive. The exponential rise in technological advancement isn't going to wait for any of us to die before proceeding. Will AI and robots take all of our jobs? YES, Absolutely! Without a doubt, everything is automatable including creativity and emotional intelligence. She reminds me of the folks from the Middle Ages who were offended at the notion that We are not at the center of the universe. They wanted to continue their denial that we are insignificant in the vast universe. In the same way we comfort ourselves with the delusion that there will always be some role for labor in the future, lest we have no purpose to the super wealthy owner class and therefore our lives have no value and we will be exterminated as superfluous vermin mouths to feed. Capitalism was born out of slavery. The slave mentality persists in that we continue to beleive that we only exist at the pleasure of the employer/owner class. If we based human worth on something other than labor, then rather than causing starvation by competing us out of jobs, these technologies would free us from toil and create a world where material needs no longer exist. What we need is not to create more pointless jobs so that Capitalists will tolerate our existence. What we need is revolution to put these technologies to use for the common good of all of us rather than just Jeff Besos.

@lipin travolta Whether it's an automated assembly line, automated warehouse, self driving car, chat bot novelist, or humanoid robot, your job is going away no matter what you name the technology.
