True tbh. I can’t imagine why someone over middle school age would use Axe. There are literally hundreds of options of perfumes from Middle Eastern brands like lattafa that go for as cheap as 10 dollars, and smell infinitely better than any axe spray, and last longer. What grown man wants to walk around smelling like a middle school locker room? Also some people don’t even realise that axe body spray is not a replacement for actual deodorant, so are stinking of BO anyway. It’s real messy out here.

Up till now, all I heard was bickering and complaints about not getting Tifa and it shows that they aren't Final Fantasy fans due to them disrespecting the decision and making false justifications/opinions. Cause If it was a yakuza character and it wasn't Kiryu they would be nothing but praises by the yakuza player base whereas the Tekken player base would be disrespectful due to their entitlement of not getting what they wanted.

I don't appreciate both games for story reasons but I love that the FF16 game devs went out and pour their love and energy to Clive's whole design and lore. Dev talks are fun to watch and I like how 1:1 the moveset is.

Looks pretty undercooked. Like some moves missing the particles, other glow effect's, other have just very low res effect's . Hope it's just bad trailer or PS 5 version

I hate how folks are hating on Clive because he’s not a waifu. I’m not even joking I heard some Koreans complaining about “another male.” He was decided a long time ago and it shows how much work they put into him.

So much love and animations details went into Clive's Adaption to Tekken 8. This surprisingly authentic. I'm going to assume what remains of the Soul Calibur team helped with him.

Honestly when the trailer first dropped I felt like I was just watching Clive's FFXVI gameplay transposed into Tekken. On closer inspection the VFX are toned down but I think that shows just how much love and care went into him in T8. I'm so happy with what they did and I really hope the devs are proud of the incredible results of all their hard work. I mean they literally REWROTE PART OF THE ENGINE so that the FFXVI victory fanfare could play when you get a KO with Clive's Rage Art. If that's not dedication, idk what is.

His Rage Art is Limit Break Combo and then a miniature version of Hellfire.

I feel bad for the devs, considering they planned Clive even before the release of both games during the hype of FF16. You can tell and see how much love and attention they poured into Clive and making him work in Tekken 8. I wish he didn't get as much hate as he did when announced, but it looks like people are actually seeing how awesome he is now.

0:52 One thing I've seen almost no one talk about is that Clive TAUNTS before his precision dodge in Tekken. You can see his animation as well as the red taunt effect from FF 16. 1:44 He does aerial burning blade before downthrust.

As a huge fan of FF16, I think it’s pretty impressive how identical they got the moves compared to the original given that they pretty much had to replicate the moves and effects from scratch. Im looking forward to jump into Tekken 8 because of this character.

The fact they had to recreate all these effects in UE5 without them being as visually stimulating (low-key kinda want to see how a 1:1 recreation would have looked like) is pretty crazy.
