Genmaji Temple is NOT in Tekken 8's Season Pass...

I've been a PS5 ultimate edition owner since product launch, and it's been an annoying 3 quarters so far: $80 minimum annual fee for PS Plus subscription to fight online (steam players fight online for free... the f*ck). Battle pass/tekken shop charging players for assets/outfits that were free in previous installments. Now devs are asking for more money from Season 1 Pass holders for a new stage. STAGES EFFECT GAMEPLAY! (BTW if you select genmaji temple but your opponent didn't puchase it, the game will send you to another stage)

So both you and your opponent have to have purchased the stage otherwise it won't load? That's crazy! Although.. they may be shooting themselves in the foot here. Cause there'll be little incentive to buy the stage when most of the time you select it doesn't load.

I've said this on multiple platform. The way Tekken 8's microtransactions are going, they are taking exactly from Dead or Alive's playbook. I mean, you get Ultimate Edition offered, then there are costumes unrelated to the Deluxe Edition, on top of that, the first stage we got was given free with the character, and now we only get the character but have to purchase the stage separate, NOT part of the Deluxe Edition bundle. Tekken is slowly taking that route I wouldn't find it surprising if their DLC reaches $1000.

They most likely started charging for stages now so not to set up a false expectation that all the stages are going to be free.

which is why i won't buy it (unless it goes on sale for like max 2.99$). They are being too greedy with transaction shits, this broke the dam for me

I imagine the seaside was free because it was basically the tekken ball stage. Now that doesn’t excuse the next stage costing money. If you got the season pass, you should get it. I just buy some characters as they come. You folks that support the game even more financially before knowing should absolutely get the stage included. Sorry fellas

This just further proves that these decisions are being made by out-of-touch executives. They want to maximize profits but they don't know anything about the game, so end up making these haphazard, short-sighted decisions.

You are definitely not tripping. However, all you seem to be doing is explaining the word called. sales tekken 0:09 😂is not a high demand game like, let's say, fortnite or overwatch. So what's the point of continuing to keep an amazing game, If their are no sales

You're not tripping at all, I didn't get the Character season pass (bc I was broke at that time) but when Lidia came out Beach Side was free and yeah you're right they did the same with Hei but then lock it behind a paywall. I got the base game so I didn't mind buying characters but when they GAVE us a the first DLC stage for FREE map I thought "cool I ONLY gotta pay for the characters to lab against and tryout later" I'm holding off on buying "Genmaji" just to see if they retract it (probably not bc when has that ever happened except for a handful of times and they were slick with not saying anything about having to pay or not pay to avoid legal action) I'm just disappointed honestly, I really like Tekken and T8 is my first time playing a Tekken game seriously.
