Good series except where it crashes spectacularly in season 5. Season 5 was a complete contradiction to the original plot 1) They wanted to make button house into a hotel for themselves. They had no intention of selling it. 2) it was going to their family home and raise their child again they did the opposite. Point 2 - if the cast happened to be worried about being type cast or stuck doing that series as long as they did, they then shouldn't of been so good at acting and the writers then shouldn't of been so good at writing the series but unfortunately writers and the actors involved you were brilliant, you unfortunately let yourself down when you messed up season 5 and got cold feet that you might be doing this series for a while longer. If had done it for longer you would have been up there with some of the greats like I don't know only fools and horses comes to mind they ran for at least seven. If you had run for two more seasons I'm sure we would have seen stronger plots and seen Alison achieving her goals of making button house a successful hotel and maybe seen her child grow up being able to see the Ghosts and see said child being raised by them as well even. To sum everything up its just sad and pointless in the end.......

the funny thing with lolly's answer at 33:26 is that as an australian, i smell unexplained burning all the time and just assume it's either a bushfire or a hazard reduction burn off (which happens all the time in spring & summer)... i suppose it depends where you are as to whether random burning smells scare you :)

I just adore how much fun they're obviously having. It's a magical series anyway, but that just makes it even better.

its so fun seeing ben willbond in full costume laughing in these bc we don’t really see the Captain actually laugh in the series past the gag in that one episode. I also feel like the way he laughs is 100% how the Captain would really laugh

I've watched S1-5 in 3 days, Cap is gay, Thomas is a stalker, Simon is just...it's self explanatory. :)

My partner, daughter & me we absolutely adore Robbin. We wish so much that there was such a thing and we have a Robbin in our house. I have got to honestly say that this is one of my favourite programmes of all time. I really really enjoy watching it.

I love how they just went let's get the cast of horrible histories to play Characters from various points in history that are ghosts. Really getting the right people for the job.
