Being always in a learning mode, I have never heard the term "chabo". Having a search online, it says... Golden Threadleaf Sawara Cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa cv. Breviramea): This is a dwarf horticultural variety of the evergreen shrub “cypress” native to Japan. It is also known as Kamakura Hiba, and its tree height is maximum 8 meters. The tree forms a narrow cone. I find it to be beautiful and you've got me intrigued. Thank you.

Off with their heads, as the queen would say from Alice in Wonderland, the Queen of Hearts. Try lipstick or TiteBond wood glue. Lipstick is a natural wax that women use on their lips. I bet you can find the color to match the bark of the tree. Just a thought.

Good morning Stacy. Election Day today. I never heard that name for it. I call it Thuja Occidentalis, or Northern White Cedar. I have quite a few that my mom started. They are a tough tree to tame.
