I loved your enthusiasm and the fact you have had the courage to get the wire on as well. This is what makes Bonsai such a wonderful hobby. I shall look forward to some updates :)

Good morning Stacy. Election Day today. I never heard that name for it. I call it Thuja Occidentalis, or Northern White Cedar. I have quite a few that my mom started. They are a tough tree to tame.

My Bonsai Master named this one! I have noticed that Hawaii likes to names plants different than the mainland!

Big improvement. I defoliated mine a couple of weeks ago. It hasn’t started to refoliate yet, and last night I forgot to turn the heat on in my greenhouse. It got down to 48! Oops. I hope she recovers. Thanks hour this relaxing video

I love the quirky leaves, so different. My Bonsai Master really stressed to me the importance of prepping! He still says it, even though I have been tutoring under him for about 14 years! Thanku for watching and your comment!

I use lipstick. Now they have all colors to match the bark or just be whimsical. A natural wax that women use on their lips. On my roses, it lasts all winter. Plus not expensive. Dollar tree or yard sales. To be bold, you can get the glow in the dark lipstick for a magical effect for an evening view.
