What to look for in a Bonsai Tree with Jon Morishita

I thought that it would be informative for everyone if we could get a little advice on picking a Bonsai tree from Jon. After the tour of the Dojo of course! I love architecture!
We go over several different trees to show what to look for, TAPER, health, as well as potential style options.
I trimmed and wired the baby Deodar Cedar that Jon gifted me.
I hope this was an informative video in helping pick out a good plant. One that will give you long life and joy to work on!

Thanku! Almost any tree will grow here! There are some very interesting ones. One of my favorites is the Curly Banyan! Just made a video of some propagated ones, will be coming soon! Hope you find them as interesting as I do!!
