So I'm a colored guy from cape town I know a little Afrikaans I was brought up with English but I've always been drawn to old school Afrikaans because of how beautiful it sounds. I'm really greatful for platforms like KZbin that keeps music from times that I wish I grew up in because of how beautiful and peaceful the music was

Anneli van Rooyen and Sonia Heroldt were my favourite singers. I came across this song by pure chance and I became nostalgic as I remembered those sun filled days, barbecuing and listening to the transistor radio and these girls songs. ❤❤ I miss the country of my birth 😢
