This is such a good interview. Finally asking him thoughtful questions about his Broadway work. Nothing about his personal life and problems. This interviewer is great and David answers his questions beautifully. I love it.

I was fortunate enough to see David in Blood Brothers when he did the U S. national tour. I had been a fan of his as a teen and a friend of mine who had seen David and his brother Shawn in it when they were on Broadway said "Oh, this play was so great. If it comes to CT, you have to see it." Well, it did and I secured a ticket and I was mesmerized by this play and by David's performance in it. He was absolutely phenomenal as Mickey. To date, his performance is probably one of my most favorite performances in a play ever. His ability to play a boy of 7 up until a young many in his twenties was so believable and so heartwrenchingly real. I was moved by this play that I left the theater with tears stiil streaming down my face. It takes a special talent to be able to move someone this much and David had that in abundance. It's heartbreaking how David's life ended, but he did matter and he brought joy to many. He truly is missed.

her in San Francisco and we talked. She gave me her time and interest. Shes gracious and kind. Her brothers sang at an old sf bar every march 17. As a favor to the owner. Every year without fail. Good family no doubt. Lovely.

He accomplished so much in his life. So hard to fathom what led him to alcoholism on such a level that his whole life unraveled. He successfully transitioned to a legitimate actor and singer internationally from UK, and Australia and the US. What a tragedy he suffered so much those last years. Always so insightful and grounded. Just baffling.

Beautiful man. The best interview I've ever seen. Not the loud, brash chatshows often seen but here we see the real David, talking so passionately about playing Mickey and truly thankful and humble that he was given the opportunity to be what he loved the most, a serious actor. I could listen to that for hours. If only he could have stopped the clock at that point when he was so content with life.
