Picasso, the Early Years

This is the first exhibition in the United States that defines Pablo Picasso's early years Appropriately titled "Picasso: The Early Years," it features the broadest cross-section of Picasso's early work ever assembled in one place. Jeffrey Weis, Associate Curator of 20th Century Art at the National Gallery of Art, goes into great detail about Picasso's early years and takes us on a private tour through the gallery exhibition. The rarity of this Picasso exhibition has yet to be duplicated. I know you will enjoy it.

Picasso went through many styles: Classical, Blue & Rose periods, and Cubist. Leading into the abstraction of the human form. Always evolving his painting expressions.
