@@recetascandidiasis6142 Sorry i just find the answer in another comment below. Thanks for your work

The resistor is needed to make the color mixing work. That is because red LEDs do need less voltage than green and blue. A resistor reduces the voltage for the red component so that all three (red, green, blue) have the same brightness. Without the resistor red would be a dominant color when mixing different colors.

Hi! What can we do if we can't get any electrical tape? Stores near me don't sell any :(

You can look for it online: conductive nylon fabric tape from adafruit

Where did you get the red and black wires?

These are from adafruit called silicone cover stranded core wire. They are amazingly flexible.

did you used n channel or p channel mosfet ?
@VoltPaperScissors2 ай бұрын
I used n-channel MOSFETs. But I realised that the circuit I use is not perfect. N-Channel MOSFETS should have the motor connected before the MOSFETs Drain and the Source being connected to GND. That way the robot is way faster and can be operated with 3 AA batteries.

I will update the circuit and upload a new video/diagram when I find time. Currently I am way too busy and the circuit shown in the video at least works.

Hi this video is amazing I’m trying to make a prototype for my design class that has some elements of the book lamp and this helped! Just wondering is the paper that you’re using a specific type of paper or just normal computer paper?
@VoltPaperScissors3 ай бұрын
i use normal printing paper for the bellows. the slide switch has to be more sturdy. I use paper that is about double the weight/thickness of normal printing paper for it

Nice demonstration man❤ quick question ,I want to make a school project similarly like this but a little twist and it is that, I want to connect the copper tap with a press button which is connected to 3 LED lights one upon another... and I NEED YOUR HELP ! What should I do that only the first light will glow if less pressure was exerted on pressure button and the top light will glow if more pressure was exerted on the pressure button ? U understand my question ,it's like those gaming hamer strength testing machine in the more you beat that machine, the led lights glow on the top
@VoltPaperScissors5 ай бұрын
butting velostat in-between the on/off switch makes it a pressure button but it will only dim the LED(s) connected to it. I do not see a simple way of achieving what you want to do since you bascially want to switch between three circuits using the same button (with different pressure). You can achieve it with a microcontroller an some simple programming (e.g. an Arduino).

no because it does not make any difference. just follow the steps to build the basic robot from this tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3LFYXxog5ytl8k then proceed with the smartphone robot tutorial. A new tutorial would be the same as doing it this way.

I am using bluetooth for connecting the two phones. But bluetooth is not required for driving the robot. I use lightsensors to read light/dark values from the screen. The lightsensors switch transistors on/off to drive the motors
