Dear Papered chef. I followed your hint to connect fine lines on a stamped image, or patterned paper. However, my scan n cut SDX1200 ignores the pencil lines and goes into the image, e.g. a bouquet, and tries to cut all the lines, which just leave me with a hot mess! Do you have any suggestions what I can do? Thank you.

I love, love how you went through each and every card. Explaining how they were made and with what gave me so many ideas

I use the direct cut a lot with the .04 outline around my stamped image. AND when I want a shadow of the same image. After I have done the direct cut of my stamped images I use the back arrow and adjust the outline to .08. I place my shadow cardstock in the exact location as the previous piece of cardstock (with the stamped images) and I select cut and it cuts the images in a bigger version. I then layer the 2 images. The important thing is you have to hit the back arrow and cut your shadows before your machine turns off. I am sure you know all this. But I felt like sharing. Thanks!

Cut out 2 large sand dollars with Gold Foil. Black Cardstock for the box - 4" x 3 1/4". Score @ 1" all around (each side). Watch video at 14.31 to miter the edges.

I’m glad I came across this tutorial! It’s a perfect little gift idea to make for my granddaughter’s 2nd grade class (for any holiday) & for the assisted living residents I make cards for so they are not forgotten. An idea for anyone!! Thank you!
